<strong><u>Job Description<br><br></u></strong>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <strong>Senior Resident Engineer</strong> to join our team! In this role you will get to <strong>lead a talented construction supervision consultancy team performing key services for a high profile master developer in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE.<br><br></strong><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing<br></u></strong><ul><li>Manages a team of up to 20+ staff.</li><li>Administrates multiple contracts on behalf of the Client.</li><li>Act as Engineer’s Representative.</li><li>Coordinate with Client, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors, Suppliers and Authorities (as required).</li><li>Advise on contractual and construction matters.</li><li>Liaise with Department and approve Contractor’s submissions.</li><li>Coordinate forward planning.</li><li>Be fully conversant with the Contract Terms and Conditions.</li><li>Implement the terms and conditions of Contract.</li><li>Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.</li><li>Liaise with all parties for site safety.</li><li>Convene and chair regular site meetings with all stakeholders.</li><li>Provide technical leadership to the team</li><li>Coordinate and monitor activities of staff</li><li>Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals within Aconex.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of records according to ISO 9001.</li><li>Maintain awareness of contracts financial status.</li><li>Coordinate project status with Program Manager and highlight all challenges, issues, and mitigations prior to informing the client</li><li>Promote Parsons Safety Culture in all that we do</li><li>Promote Parsons Quality Culture in all that we do</li><li>Give final approval to Works and arrange Handover<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>What Required Skills You’ll Bring<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering with more than 18 years of experience.</li><li>Specific Project Management Consultancy / Construction Supervision Consultancy Experience.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of MENA Experience (Preferably UAE).</li><li>Prior Experience Managing a staff of over 15+ Staff.</li><li>Infrastructure Experience.</li><li>English Language expert proficiency.<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>What Desired Skills You’ll Bring<br></u></strong><ul><li>MS Degree in Construction Management or Equivalent (PMP etc.)</li><li>Marine Construction Experience</li><li>MS Office 365 Advanced Skills</li><li>Aconex Beginner Skills</li><li>Vertical and Horizontal construction experience a plus<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start<br><br></u></strong>Not Applicable/None<br><br>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
