There is simply no other analytics solution that is as cost-effective, agile, and impactful.<p><br></p>We are looking for a senior quality engineer to join our team and help drive the product quality for our in-memory accelerated SQL offering, and build and enhance the Incorta unified data and analytics platform! You are someone who can develop a deep understanding of the Incorta product, empathy for our customers, and has a breadth of skills and experience that will make our product loved by customers<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Work closely as part of the product engineering team to drive quality product development and delivery</li><li>Be able to follow a test-driven development approach</li><li>Be able to look at use cases from a customer perspective and use that to drive our internal development process</li><li>Work with the engineers to define uses cases and create tests that drive the design and development of the product</li><li>Be able to work on automating tests to contribute to operational efficiency</li><li>Build a deep knowledge of the user impact on product features and capture the needs and requirements of these users from internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Convert the business requirements in user stories to layout concrete uses cases, and work in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering in codifying key use cases.</li><li>Collaborate with design and engineering teams to determine what we build and how we ensure a quality delivery</li><li>Participate in the daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives</li><li>Support product collateral, demos, and testing of features to ensure high quality of product deliverables.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications / Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Familiarity with the SQL Language</li><li>8+ years as a Software Quality Engineer in the area of data and analytics with special emphasis on designing and building data flows and pipelines</li><li>Familiarity with testing tools, frameworks, and scripting languages (to help in test automation) e.g. python</li><li>Ability to understand the broader enterprise BI / Analytics ecosystem in order to articulate the key requirements for consumers of enterprise analytics</li><li>Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: databases, data warehousing and ETL/ELT products, data, and analytical tools, “Big Data” platforms, Spark, Python, SQL, etc</li><li>Aware of data infrastructure technology trends, and the current cloud ecosystem</li><li>Technical aptitude and the willingness to explore/learn new technologies in a compressed time frame</li><li>Ability to work and communicate effectively in a dynamic team environment</li><li>Willingness to embrace and thrive in a rapidly changing work environment in a fast-growing startup</li><li>Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, etc.</li></ul><p><br></p>$2,500 – $3,500 a month<p><br></p>We could tell you that we’re building something that truly optimizes the way business intelligence is done.
