Senior QA Engineer – Android (Manual & Automation)

<strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>We’re looking for <strong>Senior Quality Assurance Engineer</strong> to join Procore’s QA Engineering Team. In this role, you’ll plan, develop, maintain, and execute the test suites used to deliver Procore’s Mobile Platform with quality and velocity and provide our teams with the transparency in quality assurance needed to move swiftly and with confidence.<p><br></p>This position reports to the Quality Engineering Manager and will be based in our Cairo office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.<p><br></p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Build out and execute regression tests that are key to a successful release cycle</li><li>Make data-driven recommendations to modify testing practices and improve engineering processes around testing</li><li>Own the development, management, and execution of automated regression tests within mobile CI/CD systems to ensure efficiency and completeness</li><li>Identify, document, and track software bugs</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Computer Science degree or comparable understanding of CS fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, algorithms, databases, networking, and security</li><li>5+ years of experience creating and executing testing strategies for your team or organization</li><li>Experience with Espresso or similar Android testing frameworks</li><li>Test automation experience in a distributed/service-oriented architecture environment</li><li>Competent understanding of Android and Kotlin fundamentals</li><li>Good understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principles</li><li>Experience with testing mobile applications in an agile environment</li><li>Self-driven, problem-solver with demonstrable critical thinking skills</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Additional Information</strong><p><br></p><strong>Perks & Benefits</strong><p><br></p>At Procore, we invest in our employees and provide a full range of benefits and perks to help you grow and thrive.
