<strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p><strong> Position </strong><p><br></p><strong> Senior Project Manager – T1 Port </strong><p><br></p><strong> Job Code </strong><p><br></p>Director<p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong><p><br></p><strong> Project Director Ports and Logistics </strong><p><br></p><strong> Direct Reports </strong><p><br></p><strong> SPM,PM, PE </strong><p><br></p><strong> Division </strong><p><br></p><strong> Projects </strong><p><br></p><strong> Sector </strong><p><br></p><strong> Oxagon </strong><p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p>The SPM for T1 – Port will be accountable for the delivery of the T1 terminal and Warehouse inside the Port of NEOM.<p><br></p>The DEP will drive the delivery of the entire project scope for T1 and coordinate with the other discipline leaders such as equipment, automation and IT. He will coordinate the team to deliver the entire programme of works to budget, quality and time requirements,<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Provide input and guidance in the conception, planning, design and execution of all terminal planning studies, engineering works and procurement activities required for the development of NEOM Port </li><li> Oversee the equipment deployment program forT1 Port, including the terminal automation projects for Terminal 1 </li><li> Design, develop and grow the project management skills of the team </li><li> Accountable for the civil infrastructure projects </li><li> Responsible for direct reports including delivery partners in a Matrix organisation </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Civil engineering and project development of brown and/or green fields with preference for port specific projects </li><li> Civil Engineering back ground and emphasis in the development of port infrastructure </li><li> In depth heavy equipment experience, preferable in a Ports environment </li><li> Must have extensive experience in a heavy industrial engineering environment incorporating large capacity cranes and drives, several years of which should be at managerial level </li><li> Managerial experience in a container terminal / port environment including exposure to ZPMC, Leibherr, Kone container handling equipment with preference for automation experience </li><li> Experience in managing large scale container terminal automation project would be an advantage </li><li> Track record of civil project management is advantageous </li><li> Extensive vendor management and tendering experience </li><li> Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent man management, organizational and supervisory skills Ability to function effectively under pressure and use initiative in problem solving </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum 10 years in the container terminal and shipping industry and 20 years in total post graduation </li><li> MSc or BSc in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering </li><li> Advanced qualifications, such as MBA, will be advantageous </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> MAIN CONTACTS </strong><p><br></p><strong> Internal </strong><p><br></p><strong> External </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Director of NEOM Port / All Directors of NEOM Port – Other NEOM Mobility Sectors </li><li> Consultants , partners, investors, service providers, vendors, contractors and other external stakeholders</li></ul>
