The opportunity

Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

The role will be responsible for managing the design and delivery of security systems and services for the project in line with the requirements of the city and district security strategies and STRVA reports. The role will serve as a technical advisor on security technologies, trends and best practices and assist in researching and evaluating potential solutions. You will manage relationships with the client and other project stakeholders. You will provide expert security systems and services advice to the client to enable them to make key project decisions in a timely manner and you will ensure that these are suitably applied and administered.

The role will assist in the procurement and management of digital infrastructure consultants, system integrators, contractors, and solution providers necessary to design and deploy digital infrastructure networks, systems and services. You will develop the delivery strategy for digital infrastructure networks, systems and services and identify delivery roles and responsibilities across multiple parties including asset and precinct designers and contractors, smart city consultants, systems integrators, infrastructure and utility providers, security consultants, public realm designers and contractors and more. You will coordinate and manage design and delivery activities across all parties.

You will develop the project execution plan, ensure it is agreed upon with project stakeholders, and ensure that all relevant parties you lead and supervise also understand these project objectives in your day-to-day management of the project. You will plan, manage, and monitor the project, reporting any areas of concern in a timely manner, and you will recommend ways to resolve any issues as they arise. You will produce and manage accurate records for all project issues as required. You will always comply with Mace’s processes and procedures and deliver our services in line with Mace’s core values.

  • Establishing the project execution plan, directing and supervising the relevant project team/parties to achieve these objections.

  • Managing matters in relation to health, safety and well-being on the project at all stages.

  • Managing the planning and monitoring of the progress of your project.

  • Preparing necessary project plans and keeping them updated and relevant over the course of the project.

  • Ensuring project budgets are managed.

  • Ensuring quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.

  • Chairing relevant meetings and site walks and ensuring these are suitably recorded.

  • Being actively involved in risk management.

  • Communicating effectively with all project parties/stakeholders and ensuring suitable records are maintained.Β 

  • Being an example of working collaboratively and always in an inclusive manner.
