They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.<p><br></p><strong><u>Project Description</u></strong><p><br></p>Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company is providing executive Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<p><br></p>NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea. NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders and companies will come to research, incubate, and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways.<p><br></p><strong><u>Summary</u></strong><p><br></p>The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering a portfolio of water facilities projects from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and contract close-out.<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential Duties</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Oversees compliance with the Environmental, Safety & Health program for both the field work environments including contractor and subcontractor activities. Ensures design is in accordance with ES&H laws and regulations.</li><li> Identifies quality requirements and ensures the proper processes are identified and implemented to achieve contractual quality commitments. Assesses customer perception of quality on a regular periodic basis.</li><li> Manages all contractual commitments to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms of the contract.</li><li> Leads communications and presentations to NEOM customer staff.</li><li> Supervises the development of scope of Regional Infrastructure budgets and schedules,</li><li> Manages contractor performance, reports progress, and initiates action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications.</li><li> Resolves problems throughout construction and coordinates the final turnover of the project to the customer.</li><li> Provides leadership for the development and maintenance of a high-performance project team.</li><li> Facilitates with project team the development, communication, implementation, update and continual use of the Project Execution Plan.</li><li> Conducts periodic project and Customer meetings consistent with the project communications plan to promote and facilitate communication, review progress/performance, discuss issues and facilitate problem resolution.</li><li> Documents all turnover activities and obtains Customer’s final acceptance of the work. Prepares and submits the Final Project Report to Bechtel management and the Customer. Closes out the prime contract.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Job Knowledge</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> A recognized degree in an engineering or environmental discipline</li><li> Minimum 25 year’s experience in construction projects, preferably in large scale water or wastewater facility construction projects</li><li> Has proven experience and thorough knowledge in construction of large-scale projects, preferably from a Project Management Consultant perspective, or in a senior role as a Contractor</li><li> Experience in managing a portfolio of concurrent projects of significant value</li><li> Experience in water industry installations such as:</li><li> Pump station installation works including pumps, motor controls, valves, surge vessels</li><li> District Cooling Plants</li><li> Desalination Plants</li><li> Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants</li><li> Testing and commissioning of water related assets such as pumping stations or treatment plants</li><li> Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Shaping tomorrow together</strong><p><br></p><strong>Bechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
