HVDC technology is used for example to transmit Power over long distances, on overhead lines or via submarine cables.<p><br></p>You will work in a large HVDC project being responsible for the local scope where you report to the project director. You will be based at Hitachi Energy in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabi.<p><br></p>In the project you will assist in the creating of project management plans which you will monitor and act upon during the project execution.<p><br></p>As local leader for the execution of the project you ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.<p><br></p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>In tender work you analyze project schedules, create project management plans and calculate project execution cost.</li><li>Identifies, qualifies, quantifies, and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued.</li><li>Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.</li><li>Coordinates with and support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.</li><li>Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Your Background</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent.</li><li>Extensive experience of executing large projects.</li><li>Experience managing projects under different contractual models.</li><li>Proactive and highly organized, experience in coordinating multiple teams.</li><li>Influencing and engaging leadership skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>Financial knowledge and commercial skills to manage the project.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>More about us</strong> <p><br></p>Are you ready for a new exciting challenge?
