These include programs of critical national importance in defence, transport, water, clean energy, environmental clean-up, international development and disaster recovery, as well as the shaping of many of the world’s major cities.<br> <br>We are currently looking for experienced Senior Project Managers to join our team Program Management Team. This role is based in a remote location.<br> <br>Responsibilities:<br> <ul><li>Interface and interact with executive leadership in client and lead consultant organisations</li> <li>Lead, manage, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of large, complex programs with a focus on strategic benefits, outcomes and alignment.</li> <li>Provide the necessary expertise and oversight of all program related activities and responsibilities, ensuring that these are appropriately executed</li> <li>Act as the main point of contact and key focal point for all client stakeholders</li> <li>Lead the implementation of best practice capital program governance across all clients, consultant and service provider stakeholders.</li> <li>Establish program delivery plan and appropriate control mechanisms to ensure delivery of program legacy and benefits</li> <li>Ensure that program risks are identified, prioritised, assessed and mitigated.</li> <li>Actively and successfully manage effective teamwork in often complex, multi-functional program teams</li> <br></ul><strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (engineering, project management etc.)</li> <li>PMP, APM or equivalent membership of a recognized professional institution preferred</li> <li>Membership of a Chartered Institution (MICE/ MCIOB/ MRICS) is beneficial.</li> <li>Preferred Professional Engineering License</li> <br></ul><strong>Additional Information<br></strong> <br>Minimum Requirements:<br> <ul><li>Demonstrable evidence of at least 20 years post education experience and at least 10 years of director/executive level interaction and interface.</li> <li>Significant senior level Program Management experience, typically leading complex programs in excess of $500 million</li> <li>Significant client-side representation, interaction and collaboration with Executive leadership in client and consultant organisations.</li> <li>Demonstrate consistent self-directed leadership of programs for large public sector clients in the GCC region</li> <li>Demonstrable experience at implementing and maintaining program benefits realisation workstreams.</li> <li>Recognized expertise in planning and developing successful complex programs with a proven ability to identify and manage priorities, integrate and leverage resources, processes and tools to set and achieve strategic objectives.</li> <li>Actively champions effective assurance and risk management elements of complex programs, drives positive risk cultures and is a trusted manager in mitigating company and client risks.</li> <br></ul>With infrastructure investment accelerating worldwide, our services are in great demand, and there’s never been a better time to be at AECOM!
