<p><strong>About the job</strong></p><p>Project manager for multiple information technology projects producing web applications and services in an Agile environment.</p><p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>● Strive to ensure that projects are kept within the specified scope, schedule, and cost.</p><p>● Engage in planning, tracking, and controlling of project’s scope, schedule, methodology, tasks, progress, milestones, and all project deliverables.</p><p>● Collaborate and coordinate with product owners and development teams to help ensure Scrum projects are on track.</p><p>● Coordinate and communicate with different project stakeholders (including sponsors, vendors, internal developers, and quality assurance) to plan, implement, and assess high-quality deliverables.</p><p>● Ensure that overall project plans include and implement all necessary phases including – but not limited to – system analysis, design, technical implementation, quality assurance, training, and maintenance.</p><p>● Continuously manage project risks, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.</p><p>● Define project team roles that are sufficient to cover the planned phases and tasks of a project.</p><p>● Seek and obtain clearly allocated and authorized project resources from different departments.</p><p>● Delegate and follow up on tasks and responsibilities to other project team members.</p><p>● Ensure that senior management and project sponsors are constantly and clearly kept informed and up-to-date on project progress, risks, milestones, and problems.</p><p>● Adhere to the standards adopted by the Project Management Office (PMO), and cooperate in the development and assessment of those standards.</p><p>● Continuously plan, track, and guide daily (detailed) project and subproject objectives, tasks, and milestones.</p><p>● Use automated project management software tools to facilitate tracking and control of all project aspects.</p><p>● Mentor other less experienced project managers.</p><p><span>Key Technologies</span></p><p>● Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, BIC Workflow.</p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><p>● 6 years experience MINIMUM successfully managing information technology projects.</p><p>● 6 years experience working with web application centric projects and teams.</p><p>● 4 years working in an environment relying upon automated builds and continuous integration.</p><p>● 4 years experience working in an organization deeply adhering to the Scrum methodology.</p><p>● 4 years experience assembling cost, schedule, and scope documents for complex projects.</p><p>● 4 years experience using automated tools to produce comprehensive project management related plans and artifacts.</p><p>● 2 years experience working with web service centric projects and teams.</p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><p>● Unquestioned ability to communicate extremely well. This is absolutely critical for the job since our projects are international, and we are using Scrum.</p><p>● Excellent understanding of how to work with and lead teams in a rapidly changing environment with evolving priorities.</p><p>● Absolutely excellent interpersonal skills, and is able to effectively communicate with and elicit cooperation from different stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, senior management, department managers, and technical staff members.</p><p>● Excellent understanding how to successfully manage large information technology related projects, preferably in the domain of government electronic services.</p><p>● Excellent demonstrated skills and understanding of leadership and organizational skills to plan, prioritize, implement, and monitor tasks within a team.</p><p>● Excellent understanding how to consistently produced and executed top-level project plans, weekly team/task plans, and progress reports of the highest quality.</p><p>● Excellent demonstrated ability and understanding of how to engage in project management in a Scrum-centric environment.</p><p>● Strong understanding of how to organize and assemble teams appropriate for accomplishing different projects.</p><p>● Strong understanding of key concepts and best practices for software development and information technology related projects.</p><p>● Strong understanding how to successfully manage projects involving outsourced work to external vendors.</p><p>● Strong understanding of how to work effectively in an organization containing a Project Management Office, and appreciates the necessity of adhering to organizational standards for project management.</p><p>● Strong understanding of project management theory and best practices, including different standards such as PMP, Scrum, and Kanban, and has taken formal training in the field.</p><p>● Strong understanding of how to use project management software to support multiple phases of the project lifecycle.</p><p>● Good understanding of the software engineering lifecycle, and tools to support it.</p><p>● Good understanding of automated builds and continuous integration, and how they are used to support releases of software.</p><p>● Familiar with the components of an n-tier web application, including load balancer, web server, application server, database server, and file server.</p><p>● Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.</p><p><span>Required Education</span></p><p>● MUST have a four-year Bachelor’s degree at minimum in Management, Communication, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant specialization.</p><ul><li>● PREFERRED certifications include Certified Scrum Master from Scrum.org or Scrum Alliance, PMP from the Project Management Institute, PRINCE2.</li></ul><p><br></p>
