<strong><u>Responsibilities<br><br></u></strong>Senior Project Controls consultant reports to Project Control Lead of PD&amp;E business. The role is focused on:<br><ul><li>Project Controls – Schedule, Cost, Risk &amp; Earned Value Management</li><li>Resource Management<br></li></ul>The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:<br><br><strong><u>Project Controls</u></strong><ul><li>Maintain the project control system for the PD&amp;E business that includes but is not limited to:</li><ul><li>Cost forecasting</li><li>Integration of cost &amp; schedule through earned value</li><li>Risk &amp; Opportunity management</li></ul><li>Tracks and analyses the project costs, including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts.</li><li>Assists in analysing project control requirements as part of the bid review process to ensure all requirements are incorporated.</li><li>Supports the development of the earned value management system</li><li>Liaise with (or manage) quality assurance process in relation to design delivery. Work with relevant departments to provide oversight of BMS implementation.</li><li>Generally, implement and promote a data driven culture to improve business and project performance to support EBIT growth in region.</li><li>Organise monthly project reviews for select projects he/she is responsible for</li><li>Set cash and billing target for select projects based on prior month review with Project Manager</li><li>Support the execution of project governance, reporting and review framework to provide a holistic view of all organisational programme activity.</li><li>Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects within the business to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that KPIs are monitored and evaluated.</li><li>Work closely with finance team to ensure commercial and project performance measure are aligned and feed into financial reporting.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Resource Management<br></u></strong><ul><li>Work with practice leads in maintaining a consistent system for resource management.</li><li>Support the Business Unit Leads and GTC (offshore design office in India) in maintaining a resource look ahead based on hard backlog &amp; pipeline work</li><li>Monitor the deployment of staff to projects in conjunction with business unit leads &amp; practice leads.</li><li>Drive a utilisation culture, and ensuring we have staff deployment accurately planned</li><li>Consider bidding effort and input requirements working with business and practice leads.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Digital Support To Services<br></u></strong><ul><li>Implement technology that has been developed by the digital futures group that supports automation.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Relevant Experience &amp; Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree level or equivalent professional qualification</li><li>Minimum of 10 years in project controls (Cost, Schedule &amp; Risk)</li><li>Expert problem-solving skills</li><li>Expert presentation skills</li><li>Expert in MS tools excel, including visual basic, access &amp; PowerBi</li><li>Proficient in P6</li><li>Proficient in the set-up of the Earned Value Management Systems</li></ul>
