See our full DE&amp;I statement on our website.<p><br></p><strong>Our core beliefs</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>We believe curiosity is the root of original insights and ideas… so we look at the world with fresh eyes, we experiment, invent and up-end conventions</li><li>We believe rigour results in better choices… so we ask precise, provocative questions</li><li>We believe bravery tames the unknown… so we demand ambition, confident that together we can meet ‘never been done before challenges’</li><li>We believe respect builds stronger teams and continued success… so we recognise the uniqueness and unique potential in each individual, we are accountable to each other, we play as a team</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p>As a client-facing expert in project delivery at the senior production level, you will be accountable for overseeing all aspects of the production (and technical) process within their teams remit, covering a wide range of live events, exhibitions, experience centres, experiential activations, occasional retail work and special projects.<p><br></p>The Senior Production Manager is responsible for planning resourcing needs, booking freelance staff as required, ensuring consistency in all projects, and taking overall responsibility for the delivery of all relevant projects.<p><br></p>The Senior Production Manager will also perform a “hands on” production role on the bigger and more complex projects. This is a client facing role and it is expected that the Senior Production Manager will be able to present project budgets, pitch budgets, programme budgets and other material as necessary to client groups and purchasing teams. It is also expected that the Senior Production Manager will take an upfront client facing role whilst on site or as needed throughout the production process.<p><br></p><strong>Detailed Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on-time to the highest possible standards for all projects;</li><li>Manage the workflow and resourcing of projects within the role remit, in combination with the other Directors &amp; resourcing personnel;</li><li>Ensure the wider production team are working to Imagination standards – profitable business practise, health and safety standards are met, projects commercially sound, appropriate documentation &amp; supplier best practice;</li><li>Help drive constant process and delivery improvements across delivery teams;</li><li>Motivate, guide and support the wider production team and contribute to their development of all team members;</li><li>Create practical working solutions to creative proposals – turning the vision into reality. This extends to helping to develop the creative proposals for new business pitches from both a budget and written proposal perspective;</li><li>Budgeting of projects and programmes of work, ensuring best value pricing, negotiating with suppliers and making contractor selection;</li><li>Oversee financial control of 3rd party spend, ensuring any other Production Managers plan and deliver all aspects of assigned projects within the agreed timeframe and budget;</li><li>Negotiate favourable costs and terms with all suppliers and freelancers to deliver value to Imagination and its clients;</li><li>On project completion, work with the Project Director/Manager to ensure a timely and precise financial reconciliation of all production budgets;</li><li>Specification of technical equipment and manufacturing, in conjunction with Imagination specialist teams (lighting and sound teams, design production etc);</li><li>Collaborating with the creative production team to develop solutions for live event (all streams) situations;</li><li>Scheduling of all trades throughout pre-production and delivery phases;</li><li>Contribute to the overall project time plan with Project Management &amp; Creative Leads / Directors, and ensure all Imagination processes are adhered to;</li><li>Liaise with venues and carry out site visits as appropriate, reporting back as to suitability for required situation; </li><li>Manage Health and Safety on all projects in conjunction with the Imagination H&amp;S Manager, including creation of all documentation to UK/appropriate global standards;</li><li>Fulfil the role in compliance with company policies and procedures, for example (but not limited) ISO documentation, Information Security training, etc.;</li><li>Ensure the production team works in compliance within Imagination policies and guidelines; </li><li>Ensure debriefs are undertaken on all projects and results are communicated, best-practice and learnings are shared with the production team;</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Previous Experience, Qualifications &amp; Skills Required</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Educated to degree level/professional qualification or qualified by experience;</li><li>Solid relevant experience in experiential events industry and at an appropriate level, including international and multidisciplinary work;</li><li>Broad understanding of technical elements including digital, staging, AV and construction processes;</li><li>Confident and experienced with budgeting and negotiating large scale projects, roadshows and exhibitions;</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to new challenges and requirements;</li><li>Must be able to communicate well and build relationships with clients, other departments / colleagues;</li><li>Interest in general industry and technologies;</li><li>Computer literate in the Google suite of programs;</li><li>Ability to generate, understand and interpret technical drawings;</li><li>Working knowledge of international Health and Safety regulations;</li><li>Be proactive and seek out innovations in the industry that may be applied to projects;</li><li>Bring drive and enthusiasm to the role;</li></ul>
