Senior Procurement Engineer

Job Description

<p>We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team. The Senior Procurement Engineer will be responsible for the management and execution of purchasing activities, from sourcing to delivery. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all procurement meets quality and cost requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ol><li>Develop, maintain, and implement effective procurement strategies</li><li>Source new suppliers in order to ensure competitive pricing and quality products</li><li>Negotiate contracts with suppliers</li><li>Create specifications for purchasing requirements</li><li>Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality control standards are met</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable laws regarding procurement activities</li><li>Track orders to ensure timely delivery</li><li>Collaborate closely with other departments to meet business objectives</li></ol><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Strong negotiation skills; ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers</li><li>Knowledge of relevant software applications</li></ol><p></p>
