Senior Procurement Engineer | AFC | Construction
Overview of the role
To conduct sub-contract procurement activities for various projects in order to ensure effective and timely delivery of the project.
What you will do
Purchasing Activities
- Able to read and understand the BOQ, specifications and drawings.
- Prepare Subcontract ITT in line with Policy and Procedures
- Process sub-contract enquiries in order to ensure sub-contract packages are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner
Vendor Management
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers in order to obtain the best cost and lead time offerings.
- Conduct Supplier performance evaluation for suppliers in order to maintain quality services and product
- Develop and maintain supplier database to ensure all data and offerings are updated.
Safety, Quality & Environment
- Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety, quality of services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed within AFEC.
Skills
Required Skills to be successful
- 7 years’ experience in Subcontract Procurement in building projects having worked with leading Main Contractors.

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree.
- Knowledge in Procurement Process.
