Job Description

Responsible for handling Presales activities including providing designs, recommending solutions and fulfilling all technical support needs to sales team in the Line of business, along with suggesting pricing of the suppliers and expected competition; in the field of Automation and IIoT including: RTUs, SCADA, energy management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design highly technical solutions for the entire integrated solution components. (H/W, S/W license, network, connectivity…etc)
  • Identify the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).
  • Act as a consultant/advisor for the sales person and client in the complex technical issues and conduct presentations when required.
  • Review the technical components of the proposals ensuring the efficient integration of all configured solutions before submission to the sales team for final compilation.
  • Prepare technical write-up and associated drawings that describe the solution and highlight the advantages of the proposed solution.
  • Prepare Cost sheet and associated suppliers offers after comparing the offers and check for the best optimization.
  • Study the available solutions of the competitors to be able to provide the optimum solution emphasizing our strong points. 
  • Attend customer meetings aimed to describe/discuss the proposed solution and highlight advantages over competitors.
  • Provide guidance and support Junior Presales Engineers in daily activities and operations.
