<strong>Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.</strong><p><br></p><strong> <strong>The Role</strong> </strong><p><br></p>To develop, deliver and lead specific projects and standards of Oxfam Country Strategy with focuses on strengthen civil society leadership in civic space, influencing skills and local humanitarian leadership LHL (Internally and externally)<p><br></p><strong><u>Key Roles And Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Responsible for implementation of Partner Investment Fund (PIF) project by Oxfam GB partners. </li><li> Responsible to capture learning out of implementation of flexible fund leaded by partners such as PIF and OUS. </li><li> Lead on piloting CAPAS tools process across the country as well as to capture learning and the team contribution to improve CAPAS under Oxfam GB mentor from regional team. </li><li> Responsible to develop ToR to work with platform and networks in thematic areas such as governance, peace building, and advocacy. </li><li> Co-lead with different groups/tasks assigned under task force that would be responsible to advance LHL agenda in the country. </li><li> Lead of specific groups/tasks assigned under task force that would focus on improving our relationship with partner to move from transnational toward collaborative relationship. </li><li> Support partnership lead in proposal development, and donors’ reports. </li><li> Lead on publishing research/policy paper in coordination with local partners across the country where applicable. </li><li> Support in development of any capacity strengthening ToRs related to partners in institutional and programmatic areas. </li><li> Mentoring working with platform and networks on lobbying, advocacy, and institutional capacity in close coordination with advocacy and campaign team. </li><li> Working with programme managers to support partner-led response mechanism by mentoring partners’ performance, working with finance department to simplify compliance requirements to fit to reduce bureaucracy in our way of working with partners. </li><li> Support emergency response led by Oxfam’s partners under pre-emergency framework agreement (PFA) as well as to support simulation exercise for northern partners in preparation for signing PFA with new partners in the northern part of the country. </li><li> Support program team on including governance component into our planned capacity building as part of Oxfam resilience strategy enhancing current local capacities especially in WASH sector. </li><li> Support partnership department to carry out validation workshop for partnership/LHL strategy in the country. </li><li> Any other tasks proposed by line manager in line with advancing LHL agenda in the country based on Oxfam Country Strategy/Partnership LHL strategy. </li></ul> <strong> <strong>What we are looking for</strong> </strong><p><br></p>Our next Senior Partnership Officer will need to meet the follow requirements:<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential</u></strong> <ul><li></li><ul><li> Experience managing performance of others and helping partner to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in terms and /or partners. </li><li> Demonstrable experience of delivering institutional capacity, governance, and communication work. </li><li> Excellent project management skills with track record of delivery. </li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiating skills and ability to persuade, motivate and influence internal and external stakeholders. </li><li> Strong team-player with ability to show leadership in complex and challenging environment. </li></ul></ul><p><br></p><strong>Desirable</strong> <ul><li></li><ul><li> Understanding / experience of local humanitarian leadership programming in Yemen context. </li><li> Coaching or mentoring experience </li><li> Team and people management experience </li></ul></ul> <strong> <strong>Organizational Values:</strong> </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Accountability – Our purpose-driven, results-focused approach means we take responsibility for our actions and hold ourselves accountable.
