<p>Lead the alignment of parcel management solutions, validated parcel business processes and end user expectations within the company, ensuring all programs and strategic plans are designed to position EMX as market leader in terms of both market size and innovative customer services and experiences. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Strategy, Policy and Procedure </strong></p><ul><li>Develop company wide and cross functional strategic technology and innovation planning and project initiatives across all functions within parcel management solution ensuring all partner functions are fully aligned with the strategic technology plan for the company. </li><li>Develop a complex transformation strategy to facilitate business growth and alignment across operations, customer services, sales, and process excellence, while collaborating with IT, finance and support services. </li><li>Analyze variations and trends in policies, procedures and processes to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term strategic plan. </li><li>Design comprehensive goals for performance & growth for the department. </li><li>Deal with sensitive and confidential information related to work with discretion to protect the interests of EMX.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Customer Engagement</strong></p><ul><li>Direct the enhancement of Customer Interfacing solutions (Customer Mobile APP, Website, EP Connect, EP Global, Cross Border solutions). </li><li>Promote Environment-friendly delivery solutions and Real-Time Tracking and visibility. </li><li>Evaluate client feedback on product and service satisfaction to direct the development of innovative technological solutions that meet prospective client needs. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Project Management</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and oversee portfolio(s) of the parcel management solution, coordinating and managing interdependencies with a strong focus on governance and delivery cost control.</li><li>Lead all key technology and innovation projects for the parcel management solution, including full ownership of related project/program plans, ensuring delivery as per agreed milestones.</li><li>Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of change requests and projects while complying to quality standards and overall department’s performance objectives. </li><li>Manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulating entities and business units’ expectations. </li><li>Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements. </li><li>Establish and manage project budgets (including hard and soft costs). </li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Modern Ops </strong></p><ul><li>Lead the automation solutions for below activities: </li></ul><ol><li>- First mile management (labelling, handling shipments data, packaging, inventory, congestion and documentation). </li><li>- Shipment Routing Management solutions S2P </li><li>- Middle mile management, Ware house Management & Linehaul Management solutions </li><li>- Facilitate data and insights dashboard for operation management in relation to the parcel management solution. </li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Shipment Enablement</strong></p><ul><li> Oversee the configuration of products and services for shipping operations. </li><li>Provide a continuous development and improvement solution for centralizing shipment requests, managing shipment promises, allocating shipment to respective execution plans and tracking of shipments</li><li> Monitor the execution and tracking of shipments according to the plan and address any exceptions or deviations that arise. </li><li>Evaluate the suitability of product offerings allowing for further analysis and decision-making by Profiling and categorizing incoming shipping requests. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li> Contribute to identifying opportunities for enhancing business application processes and practices, considering international best practices, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and overall business process improvement. </li><li>Ensure Routes Planning and optimization to maximize the accuracy for the delivery ETAs. </li><li>Support senior management on new processes that need to be implemented or existing processes that needs to be changed or delivered against key metrics or milestones.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Reports</strong></p><ul><li> Provide detailed project related reporting for all assigned programs. </li><li>Conduct monthly forecasts, cash flow analysis and prepare anticipated cost reports</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Other Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Perform any other responsibilities relating to this job request or work task as allocated by the Line Manager.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualification:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field with certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP).<strong> </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li> 7-10 years of expertise in supply chain and IT Leadership role serving first mile and middle mile solutions in middle to large scale projects in eCommerce or Logistics business.</li></ul>
