Senior Oracle Database & Middleware Administrator

<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span>Senior </span><strong>Oracle Middleware</strong><span> is responsible for providing the solutions and services that enable our staff and systems relying on middleware components (</span><strong>Databases, Application servers, etc.)</strong><span> to operate optimally on a daily basis.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>· Building, installing, and configuring new Servers, instances, or databases including high availability options including but not limited to operating system clustering, load balancing, specialized technologies like </span><strong>reverse proxy, web engines, Oracle RAC, Server farms, etc.</strong></p><p><span>· Manage MW Servers, including but not limited to hardening, patching, changes implementation, backup configurations, monitoring system’s health and performance, performance tuning, and security aspects (</span><strong>for example TDE, authentication method, etc.)</strong></p><p><span>· Solve and correct issues and incidents in line with SLA.</span></p><p><span>· Analyze incidents, identify problems and patterns, identify root causes and address problems.</span></p><p><span>· Provide suggestions and ideas for service improvement in all areas including process, partners, platform setup, or technology/products. </span></p><p><span>· Provide technical leadership in designing, implementing and maintaining stable and reliable solutions that meet service agreements.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><strong>Minimum Years of Experience for each role</strong></p><p><strong>· 7 to 10 years</strong></p><p></p><span></span><p><strong> Technical Skills Required </strong></p><p><span>· A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience in a related field</span></p><p><span>· Solid technical expertise </span><strong>in Oracle Database and related products/features (including RAC, partitioning, ASM, performance tuning, RMAN, etc.)</strong></p><p><span>· Preferably </span><strong>on Exadata, WebLogic application servers, WildFly,</strong><span> </span><span>and related products’ support, design, and implementation skills including performance tuning, data protection, and mirroring, security, and hardening.</span></p><p><span>· Knowledge of other </span><strong>RDBMS systems</strong><span>, application servers, and other middleware products is a main differentiator.</span></p><p><span>· Good knowledge of </span><strong>SQL language, Database, basic knowledge of application servers,</strong><span> Operating systems, and related technologies.</span></p><p><span>· </span><strong>ITIL (preferred)</strong></p><p><br></p>
