Job Summary

To lead the activities from the candidate’s acceptable to the candidate’s start date. 

To lead a warm, smooth on-boarding process and to enroll the incoming candidate/employee into the new system, communicate of process, and coordinate pre-employment.

To communicate company and job details to newly selected candidates schedule the initial days of employees, and gather the necessary paperwork.

Job Responsibilities 1

Oversee with the Travel Section for travel arrangements of the new joiners.

Arrange transportation on the first day of joining the business and permanent transportation for employees with transportation benefits provided by the company.

Oversee the booking of accommodation for new joiners with company-provided accommodation benefits.

Be updated with the travel regulations and current scenarios of restrictions.

Address new joiners’ queries during the onboarding stage.

Ensure proper guidance to employees by giving information and necessary assistance on regular basis.

Complete Onboarding Activities and hand over the new joiner to Employee Relations for further joining formalities.

Suggest and implement changes and improvements to the hiring and onboarding process.

Communicate with management regarding the successes and failures of the hiring and onboarding process.

Job Responsibilities 2

Oversee the Government Relations team with regards to the submission of work visa / local transfer requests.

Oversee the new joiners for visa processes for all related papers works to be uploaded to the system with regards to the Visa/QID.

Oversee the new joiners for onboarding documentation for the Employee Relations team.

Ensure the updating of onboarding status in SAP – Onboarding Module.

Ensure the updating and creation of onboarding reports.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Knowledge of Human Resources.Hands-on experience implementing Talent Acquisition and Onboarding platforms.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and competence in dealing with a variety of individualsExcellent networking and relationship building skillsExcellent knowledge of the Qatar Labor LawExcellent judgment and decision-making skillsStrong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong understanding of regional and Qatar specific compensation trendsExcellent time management skillsDemonstrate respect for different cultures, interest in and understanding of a range of attitudes, beliefs, and traditionsDetailed knowledge and application of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

8 years of total work experience 

5 years of experience in onboarding

2 years in GCC region (preferred)

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or Business Administration
