We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer, to join the team based in Doha, Qatar.<p><br></p><strong>About The Job</strong><p><br></p>Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:<p><br></p><strong>Job purpose :</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensures continuity of engineering to site.</li><li>Is in charge of technical interfaces with the sub-contractors.</li><li>Is In charge of resolving first level problems at site.</li><li>Performs simple calculations and draws sketches for any modification work at site.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Main Accountabilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Proficiency in performing analyses, design and checking of drawing</li><li>Design of fixed offshore platforms</li><li>Jacket , Deck &amp; FPSO</li><li>Re assessment of Old platforms</li><li>Miscellaneous brown field design works</li><li>Transportation, lift, on bottom stability, pile drivability</li><li>In place fatigue analysis (Deterministic and Spectral)</li><li>Pushover analysis</li><li>Boat landing</li><li>Protector Structure</li><li>Connections, Pad eye etc,</li><li>Site survey and report</li><li>Hands on experience on SACS</li><li>International codes and standards – API RP 2A, AISC, DNC</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> About You:</strong><p><br></p><strong>Must Have</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural engineering discipline</li><li>Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in design of offshore structures/platforms</li><li>Offshore Experience </li><li>SACS</li><li>STAAD pro</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Nice to have</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Post-Graduation in Offshore Engineering / Ocean Engineering</li><li>Experience in GRLWEAP</li></ul><p><br></p>We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.<p><br></p>We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:<p><br></p><strong>Inclusion Standards</strong><p><br></p>In our continuous journey to developing and building culture of inclusion, we adhere to four Inclusion Gold Standards.
