<p><strong>Role: </strong></p><p>The Network &amp; Security Architect/Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s IT infrastructure is in good working order. The candidate should have an extensive <strong>understanding of network management and configuration</strong>, as well as the ability to configure and maintain <strong>Palo</strong> <strong>Alto</strong>, <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>or any of the large mainstream FW’s and networks</strong>, with an <strong>emphasis on security</strong>. The incumbent must also have knowledge of<strong> desktop support and server administration.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Provide leadership and guidance by defining design vision, standards, guidelines, best practices and processes to build a top-quality secure banking network</p><p>• Review, analyse and recommend improvements to Bank’s current network infrastructure and always keep best practices related to design, security and the regulator in mind</p><p>• Drive innovation across the departments, identify emerging technologies and provide solutions to support all Bank’s functions. Enhance the technology division’s capabilities by introducing the latest technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the digital bank.</p><p>• Ensure direct reports stay up to date with recent developments and lead the implementation of industry best practices to drive higher levels of effectiveness.</p><p>• Senior level end-to-end troubleshooting where junior and medium skilled specialists are not able to solve complex issues</p><p>• Responsible for OCI networking and all associated connections to SaaS providers, SAMA/SBM and other banking networking links</p><p>• Software installation, network segmentation and firewall configuration and be able to configure or guide 3rd party resources in the implementation/configuration of said technologies</p><p>• Update current documents of the network (LAN/WAN) onsite</p><p>• Act as an advisor to the project management team for ad-hoc projects (e.g. OCI FastConnect, VoIP, LAN/WLAN expansion, connectivity/security requirement)</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Skills/Experience:</strong></p><p>• Good knowledge of technology regulatory requirements in the KSA and Middle East</p><p>• Comprehensive understanding of banking operations technology and products, especially the Networking and Security Aspects</p><p>• In depth technical knowledge and experience in the Technologies that are enablers of agile Digital Banks, including: public, private and hybrid cloud platforms and tools</p><p>• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills</p><p>• Excellent leadership skills</p><p>• Excellent logical, problem solving and analytical skills</p><p>• An in-depth understanding, configuration and support of the networking and security domains (preferred Palo Alto / Cisco / Fortinet product knowledge)</p><p>• Extensive understanding of desktop/server support</p><p>• Ability to document designs and configurations of the as-is and the to-be IT landscape</p><p>• The role necessitates excellent communication and organizational leadership abilities</p><p>• You should have expertise in security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network access controls, and network segmentation</p><p>• You must be experienced with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and UNIX</p><p>• Network security architecture and its development are both important</p><p>• Wireless security, such as routers, switches, and VLAN security</p><p>• DNS security principles such as routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDOS mitigation technology</p><ul><li>• An understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks are required</li></ul>
