Power Platform Developer Job Description

Acksession LLC is recruiting a passionate, roll-up-your- sleeves technologist who wants to make daily contributions in a collaborative environment. Responsible for managing and developing core Power Platform software solutions, including but not limited to Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The responsibilities of the Power Platform developer would include analysis, design, programming, project leadership, team participation, user interaction, and system integration. This is an ideal role for a developer who also wants to own and manage the Power Platform from an Administrator role. The Power Platform Administrator is responsible for creating and managing all Power Platform environments, artifacts, flows, and end users. Primary responsibilities are to manage and develop the Power Platform Center of Excellence (COE).

Required Skills: 

  • Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Power Automate. 
  • Ability to create and deploy business Apps and possess a clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods. 
  • Responsible for managing Power Platform administration at the tenant level. 
  • Responsible for governance and management of Power Platform environments. 
  • Ability to develop data processes, data pipelines and data harmonization techniques for intake data from both inside and outside sources. 
  •  Ability to work with end users on a daily basis and troubleshoot issues. High proficiency level with system architectures, and database system models. 
  • Integration experience related to 3rd party products and/or services 
  • Excellent analytical skills applied alongside technical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues. 
  • Provide complete and comprehensive documentation of systems developed. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a cross-functional team to deliver timely results. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

  •  Ability to provide a positive experience for users of Power Platform and other applications. 

Preferred Skills & Desired Application Expertise/Certification: 

  • Power Platform Developer. 
  • Power Platform Consultant. 
  • Power BI Data Analyst. 
  • Power Platform Solution Architect. 
  • Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in data & analytics field, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. 
  • Experience across the entire Power Platform: MS PowerApps- Canvas and Model Driven Apps; Power Automate (Flows); Power Virtual Agents; and Power BI. 
  • Experience designing business processes and integrations between Microsoft applications and other applications. 
  • Ability to identify, analyze, propose, and develop solutions for business and technical needs by working with end-users, product owners and technical groups. 
  • Agile Development experience is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
