Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Execute the piping & static equipment technical detailed design scope during project conceptual,design and execution phases.• Ensure correct application of specs by contractor, and advise of any conflicts with projectrequirements, objectives, or contractual frame.• Ensure the preparation of all piping & static equipment related philosophies, design basis, procedures,standard drawings, and vendor documents.• Prepare the piping & static equipment engineering documentation, establishing major methods anddata to ensure the selection of the optimum design from both technical and economic standpoints,piping material specification, valve specification, piping design specification, criteria for pipesupporting and pipe support specification• Review Engineering deliverables such as Specs, Data Sheet, Material Requisition, TBE, GAD, designcalculation and Isometrics, etc. and apply international standards, best engineering practices, andcompany standards & procedures. Solid expertise and knowledge of current design techniques,concepts, and standards.• Advice during the Material Selection criteria Provide resolution of Technical Queries and TechnicalDeviations during detailed engineering.• Ensure technical and quality accuracy for Engineering Deliverables of Piping layout, standards, andisometrics, MTO, and participate in project reviews, workshops, and models reviews, Gas.• Ensure the preparation and reviews of the Stress Analysis Philosophy.• Participate pre and post contract award for discussions, clarifications.• Coordination execution, and progress of piping & static equipment Engineering design withstakeholders.• Liaise with Vendor’s representatives. Managed meetings with the suppliers, client, licenser, andinterfaces.• Participate in KOM & PIM and monitored inspection works, inspection surveillance, progress, andcommissioning visits Experience with test packs for any air pressure testing of pipe work, and “GoldenWelds” for modifications after testing and develop site work packages for engineering work ordersapplying industry best practices for piping & static equipment• Conduct site inspection/visit for accuracy of piping system & static equipment includingmechanical walk-downs, check list, etc.
