<p><strong>Below are some key responsibilities and duties: </strong></p><p><span> </span></p><ul><li>To prepare and / review major <strong>equipment enquiry specifications, reviewing and analyzing vendor bids, preparation of technical bid evaluation, Reviewing of Vendor documents and co – ordination</strong> with various other disciplines for data inputs</li><li>To provide technical assistance, coordination, and liaison with other discipline engineers on all aspects of Engineering / technical matters and audits</li><li>To participate in all <strong>Design reviews, HSE workshops</strong> and Constructability reviews, as necessary</li><li>Active participation in <strong>Bid clarification</strong> and Vendor kick – off meetings, through the course of the projects</li><li>To review and approve sub – contractor’s work and ensure compliance with the contract, project specification, relevant codes and standards and best practices</li><li>To ensure that all work is completed with quality and is delivered according to the project schedule</li><li>To <strong>co – ordinate with equipment vendors, to trouble shoots the issues related to design, manufacturing, maintenance, installation</strong></li><li>To liaise with the client’s engineering team as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion</li><li>To prepare Engineering Reports on project activities / methods</li><li>To ensure that the overall project is delivered to meet the client needs</li><li>To <strong>provide direction and guidance on all technical queries relating to equipment engineering</strong></li><li>To provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline</li><li>To assist in the coordination of all activities related to major mechanical equipment</li><li>To identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and / or quality and recommend corrective actions as required</li><li>Supervision of Graduate Engineers and provide input to the performance management of direct reports</li><li>Develops, review, and approve project and proposal estimates and schedules by referencing the project scope of work and discussing the estimates and schedules within the team and those of other disciplines</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills/Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, as minimum</li><li><strong>FPSO / Offshore experience is preferred</strong></li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry in <strong>Rotating Equipment design</strong></li><li>Experience of working with multi – national and multi – cultural project teams is strongly preferred</li><li>Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage</li><li>Thorough knowledge of relevant international codes and standard</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Apply Now!</strong></p>
