Description

As a Senior Manager, Sustainability/ESG you will play a critical role in driving and implementing sustainability initiatives within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to integrate sustainable practices across our operations, ensuring our company’s commitment to environmental responsibility, social impact, and long-term sustainability goals.

Strategy Development and Implementation:

Lead the development of a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with our organization’s values and objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into all aspects of our operations, including supply chain, product development, and corporate practices.Establish clear goals, targets, and action plans to drive sustainability initiatives and track progress towards key performance indicators (KPIs).

Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare and submit sustainability reports, disclosures, and certifications required by regulatory bodies, industry standards, and stakeholders.Monitor and assess compliance with applicable environmental regulations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Provide regular updates and communicate sustainability progress to senior management, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Social Responsibility and Stakeholder Engagement:

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and community organizations, to promote sustainability initiatives and collaboration.Ensure social responsibility by implementing programs that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.Collaborate with external partners and organizations to support social and community-based sustainability projects.

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., LEED, CSR) are advantageous.Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB).
