<strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p><strong> Job Title/ Position </strong><p><br></p>Senior Manager – Strategic Finance – Transition<p><br></p><strong> Job Code </strong><p><br></p><strong> Job Level/ Grade </strong><p><br></p>Senior Manager<p><br></p><strong> Type of Position </strong><p><br></p>Full time<p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong><p><br></p>Director – Strategic Finance<p><br></p><strong> Direct Reports </strong><p><br></p>Manager – Strategic Finance – Transition<p><br></p><strong> Division </strong><p><br></p>Finance<p><br></p><strong> Department </strong><p><br></p>Strategic Finance – Corporate Finance<p><br></p><strong> Job Location </strong><p><br></p>NEOM Office<p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Responsible for leading transitional initiatives to establish annual financial planning and measuring performance against execution through involvement in management reporting activities </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Performance Measures (KPIs) </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Readiness of identified team for decentralization </li><li> Timely completion of financial planning activities as per calendar for transitional units </li><li> Effective Budget controls and transparency of variance reporting </li><li> Timely availability of monthly management reporting packs for critical and timely decision making </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities & Activities</strong><p><br></p><strong> Key Responsibilities </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Perform the annual financial planning and budgeting for transitional entities and provide guidance to subsidiary team to run the process</li><li> Perform measurement of performance for such entities and measure the budget performance reporting against the execution</li><li> Lead the timely preparation and submission of monthly management reporting for transition units to reflect performance transparently</li><li> Work closely with team to provide guidance and learning opportunities and develop their knowledge and expertise to ensure readiness for decentralization</li><li> Identify transition-related issues in areas of FP&A and creating effective solutions to resolve them swiftly</li><li> Cascade the strategic planning to business models and financial plans across the transitional units to ensure overall financial plan matches with the expectations</li><li> Keep abreast of emerging trends and technology in FP&A space and provide expert inputs to subsidiaries for improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of the function and its accelerators</li><li> Work closely with FRC department teams to ensure FP&A activities are conducted in line with accounting standards</li><li> Liaise and support Transformation team in the designing and execution of initiatives and transformation programs</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills & Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge, Skills, and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> 10 or more years’ experience in a similar role with a real estate, construction, sovereign wealth fund, or investments company </li><li> Extensive knowledge in Financial & Management Accounting </li><li> Extensive knowledge in Planning, Budgeting and & Management Reporting </li><li> Knowledge of Financial and Management Consolidation </li><li> Knowledge of SAP, BI and EPM tools </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Post-graduation degree/diploma or equivalent in management accounting and/or Finance </li><li> Finance/Accounting certifications/qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, CMA, ACCA, or similar) </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> MAIN CONTACTS </strong><p><br></p><strong> Internal </strong><p><br></p><strong> External </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Strategic Finance Director </li><li> Strategic Finance team members </li><li> Other employees across NEOM </li><li> Regulatory & Governing bodies </li><li> Consultants/Advisors </li><li> Public Investment Fund / Other stakeholders </li><li> Ministry of Finance </li><li> External auditor</li></ul>
