<ul><li>JOB PURPOSE:</li></ul><p><br></p>To ensure adoption and support of digital initiatives across all ACWA Power entities and assets in the respective region.<p><br></p>Demand analysis for the needs arising from the end users at the plant level and segregating them from the traditional support versus new requirement (the new requirement will be tackled by the digital enablers teams) for the respective region.<p><br></p>Provide the appropriate and efficient digital operational and end user support to all ACWA Power Business Units and Enabling Functions in the respective region.<p><br></p><ul><li> KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Description</strong><p><br></p><strong>Digital Adoption and Support Strategy and Governance </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Contribute to the effective development of digital adoption and support strategy. </li><li>Contribute to the development and regular review of the digital adoption and support policies, procedures, and standards to govern and always guide proper digital adoption & support implementation</li><li> Contribute to the establishment of change management strategy to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes. </li><li>Matrix reporting to the head of digital adoption and support at corporate and the PM regional head. </li><li>Push the digital transformation agenda and the implementation of the new digital support organization within PCs and plants in their respective region. </li><li>Monitor and drive the efficiency and effectiveness of digital adoption and support processes in their region</li><li>Ensure the compliance with regulatory issues (such as NCA, AER, etc) in the respective region</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Digital Adoption & Support unit objectives and budget</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Contribute to the definition of the objectives for the digital adoption and support unit in coherence with the overall digital enabling function strategic priorities. </li><li>Contribute to the annual budget for the digital adoption and support unit as well as contribute to the annual budget of the project company and the plant in their region. </li><li>Contribute to the approval of investments to be made at the regional level for digital initiatives not included within the annual exercise either at the corporate level or the PC or plant level via proper business cases. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Digital Adoption & Support unit Organization and management </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Contribute to the definition of the organization, the required profiles, staffing, job descriptions and KPI’s for the digital adoption and support unit. </li><li>Allocate resources to digital adoption and support unit initiatives and manage the workload. </li><li>Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement programs for the digital adoption and support unit</li><li>Develop and nurture the pipeline of talent within the digital adoption and support unit</li><li>Drive unification and synergies across sites in the respective region. </li><li>Drive the optimization of resources across sites and corporate offices in the region. </li><li>Ensure centralized knowledge base (architectures, polices, permissions, authorizations, etc.) are maintained. </li><li> Deploy the adoption & support organization across the respective region</li><li>Provide the support to Enabling Functions, the PM and O&M Business Units. </li><li>Manage the relationships with regional PM head, EMOs, O&M and facilitate all types of agreements. </li><li>Define the PCs and plants ownership model in coordination with the respective EMO including the utilization of the digital solutions through SLAs. </li><li>Drive the internal and external audits (including government agencies) and assess the observations in the respective region. </li><li>Prepare continuous executive reporting on the performance of the digital adoption and support unit in the respective region. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Adoption</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Implement change management strategy across all sites in the region to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes. </li><li> Implement and support ACWA Power IT SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) framework across ACWA Power systems in the region</li><li> Implement and support ACWA Power Cybersecurity framework across ACWA Power systems in the region</li><li>Contribute to the establishment of the deployment model and framework across digital adoption and support t unit in the region. </li><li>Ensure the deployment of architectures/platforms/cybersecurity across all sites (operational and under construction) in the region while complying with country legislation. </li><li> Identify specific local needs in the implementation of global solutions and adapt global solutions accordingly</li><li>Coordinate with PM regional head and EMOs to:</li><li>Establish deployment activities planning</li><li>Build up deployment teams</li><li>Manage issues resolution</li><li>Provide clear ownership and resolution of incidents/faults logged against applications / Systems supported by digital adoption and support team to agreed SLA’s</li><li>Roll out specific digital EF policies, standards, methods, tools & applications, manuals, and guidelines. </li><li>Deploy all the requirement of ISO certifications including the information security and digital business continuity management perspective. </li><li>Ensure the delivery and continuous improvement of adoption and support services including roll out, utilization, change management, unification data availability, and cybersecurity in the respective region. </li><li>Develop user acceptance testing processes to evaluate the functionality of digital services and ensure they work according to the business requirements. </li><li> Ensure the local digital hardware and software inventory database for the adoption and support in the region are maintained</li><li>Ensure the backup, disaster recovery and regular testing of digital adoption and support systems in the respective region are maintained. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Support </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure the operation of the help desk, provision of technical support and provides guidance and support as needed in the region. </li><li> Provide Corporate Offices, Project Companies & O&M operational first line of support on Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Apps, Telecommunication, and collaboration solutions within their respective region</li><li> Ensure the operation of digital infrastructure and data centers in the PCs, plants, and offices in the respective region. </li><li> Provide support to the digital operations team to maintain the core Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Apps, Telecommunication, and collaboration solutions in ACWA Power and NOMAC corporate offices applicable in the region</li><li>Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the user support productivity, digital initiatives adoption & utilization, corporate policies and procedures implementation and digital operations support for their region</li><li>Demand analysis for the needs arising from the end users at the plant level and segregating them from the traditional support versus new requirement (the new requirement will be tackled by the digital enablers teams). </li><li>Provide technical support during the installation, configuration and roll out phase as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Interaction with the I&C </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage I&C tribe of digital champions at the plant level</li><li>Ensure the participation and integration of the I&C resources as project team members on the Digital initiatives taking place at the plant </li><li>Ensure data gathering for all critical IT/OT systems. </li><li>Facilitate the control systems infrastructure support in coordination with digital operations and I&C</li><li> QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree in IT Engineering or Computer Science</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> 10+ years total experience in the IT / IT management with 5+ years of experience in the energy and utilities sector</li></ul>
