Drive a culture of integrity and ethics at NEOM through strong awareness and understanding of NEOM’s policies and procedures and an understanding of compliance risks.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities & Activities</strong><p><br></p><strong> Responsibilities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Build a team of compliance advisors to enable better, faster decisions aligned to NEOM’s culture of integrity.</li><li> Provide the business with timely and relevant regulatory advice and guidance to enable them to assess the impact and implement any associated changes to comply.</li><li> Establish and maintain a constructive, open relationship and dialogue with business leaders and staff, proactively promoting Compliance in front of the business, support functions and other control functions, whilst always maintaining an independent viewpoint.</li><li> Provide advice to the business if required following Compliance Monitoring reviews.</li><li> Identify and review key regulatory changes through effective and regular Horizon Scanning and prepare business impact assessments.</li><li> Understand and apply external business standards, sharing good industry practice and provide guidance to the business as required.</li><li> Draft and maintain Compliance Policies and Procedures.</li><li> Support and role model the compliance culture within the business.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills & Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge, Skills and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum of 10 years experience in a Compliance Advisory role.</li><li> Demonstrable experience of effective communication with all levels of stakeholders.</li><li> Experience working on legal and regulatory analysis.</li><li> Ability to analyse processes, identify compliance risks, and propose and document solutions.</li><li> Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to key stakeholders.</li><li> Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues within the business and support areas to provide advice and guidance on matters raised</li><li> Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite Products).</li><li> Advanced organisational skills, attention to detail.</li><li> Ability to work well under pressure with proactive approach to routine and non-routine occurrences.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p>Relevant qualifications and professional certifications<p><br></p><strong> COMMUNICATION – MAIN STAKEHOLDERS </strong><p><br></p><strong> Internal </strong><p><br></p><strong> External </strong><p><br></p>Compliance Programme team, Compliance Committee, Audit and Risk Committee, Finance, Legal, Investigations team.<p><br></p>External Compliance service providers.
