<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong> RESPONSIBILITIES <br><br></strong><strong>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:</strong> <ul><li>Lead and coordinate/control with various disciplines, PMT &amp; client on execution of the project</li><li>Create and maintain the S3D Project Data base and Project Plant structure (with Oracle/MS SQL Server)</li><li>Manage the project SP3D set up and customization activities for all disciplines and modules.</li><li>Create and maintain Piping Specifications for S3D (from SPRD output files) – should be able to identify, rectify errors in SPRD Specification bulk load sheets and load &amp; validate the specs in S3D</li><li>Should be able to coordinate with SPRD / SPRD team to prepare specifications and provide MTO for bulk loading to SPRD</li><li>Actively involve during the S3D project definition, implementation, execution </li><li>Prepare procedures, implementation procedure, work-instructions for users for performing various 3D tasks. </li><li>Schedule and validate all S3D database back-ups for the project.</li><li>Create and Maintain Plot files.</li><li>Creation and maintenance of Orthographic Drawing set up &amp; template customization (all disciplines and types of drawings) to meet client requirements.</li><li>Creation and maintenance of isometric drawing set up and isometric trouble shooting.</li><li>Recovery of files as requested by the project.</li><li>Support and configuration of the following modules for use within S3D</li><ul><li>Piping, structural, Electrical, Instrumentation &amp; Mechanical (all disciplines)</li><li>Interference Detection (Clash Checks)</li><li>SmartPlant Review creation</li><li>Drawing template creation and customization of all discipline deliverables</li><li>Creation and Maintenance of S3D reference Data catalogues</li><li>Catalogue mapping and data updates management in SPRD and bulk load specifications to S3D environment</li><li>Pipe &amp; Tray Supports configuration – to incorporate MDR standards in S3D and extract support drawings &amp; reports as per MDR requirement.</li></ul><li>Spool ISO configuration as per MDR requirement – in S3D and SpoolGen software</li><li>Conduct internal S3D user training for all disciplines (for all modules – modeling, drawing extraction, reports, isometrics etc.)</li><li>Configure and create custom templates for various types of reports (MTOs/Weights/COGs/etc.)</li><li>Should be able to prepare work instructions and procedures for performing various S3D workflow and tasks.</li><li>Should be able to coordinate with SPRD / SPRD team to prepare specifications and provide MTO for bulk loading to SPRD</li><li>Good exposure to detail engineering in any of the engineering disciplines (piping, structural, E&amp;I)</li><li>Should be able to gather &amp; understand requirements from all discipline and be able to support the team.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Essential Qualifications and Education:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Degree in engineering / Diploma in Engineering. Formal training in 3D application and multiple project execution exposure essential.</li><li>Minimum 8+ years’ experience as an S3D Administrator with a reputed engineering organization in the oil and Gas industry</li><li>Should be able to S3D programming using .NET to customize S3D</li><li>Good working knowledge of CAD Applications</li><li>Knowledge of Visual Basic, VBA, SQL programming &amp; CAD application scripts.</li><li>Well versed in the various aspects of plant design (Codes and Standards) for the oil and Gas industry in a 3D Model environment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Company Overview and Core Values:<br><br></strong>McDermott is a premier, fully integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
