Senior IT Pillar Specialist – AVEVA E3D Administration

<strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong> Key Tasks and Responsibilities: <br><br></strong><ul><li> Project setup as per the requirements of the company and client. </li><li> Good experience in project creation process aligned with other DABACON applications (AVEVA Diagram, AVEVA Engineering) – with company/project configurations.</li><li> Good experience &amp; understanding of AVEVA Global setup (for internal multi-location/external client) </li><li> Manage AVEVA Global and Extract Databases. Coordinate with leads in setting up global projects. </li><li> Assist design team in preparing the 3D modeling procedure &amp; Implementation procedure for the project.</li><li> Create new catalogues for the projects as per vendor data for piping, structural &amp; E&amp;I </li><li> Experience in configuring Structural joints &amp; fittings in E3D &amp; PDMS. </li><li> Liaise with 3D model coordinator for the smooth functioning of projects.</li><li> Support / Guide the design team for all modeling issues (all disciplines) </li><li> Setup clash management (SQL/Oracle) and run clash reports as per the project schedule.</li><li> Generate various reports from the 3D model as per project requirements.</li><li> Work with SRD team to load E3D / PDMS specifications and coordinate to solve issues with SRD team. </li><li> Coordinate with design teams for MTOs (for input into SRD) and other reports (weight reports, COG etc.) </li><li> Should be able to develop &amp; configure project specific customizations &amp; configurations using PML </li><li> Should have good experience of MDS and E3D Support module to build new custom company, client and project specific support configurations for piping &amp; trays including support drawings configurations and supports report extraction.</li><li> Setup support configuration and customization using MDS in PDMS and Supports module in E3D to enable supports modelling and drawing extraction.</li><li> Coordinate with all disciplines to configure and create 2D drawing automation to ensure 2D drawings from 3D model are automated to the maximum.</li><li> Setup &amp; configure drawing styles &amp; rulesets for extraction of various types of 2D drawings for various disciplines in DRAW module of E3D and DRAFT in PDMS </li><li> Should have good understanding of E3D / PDMS Spooler Module for user support, trouble shooting and configuration and customization.</li><li> Expertise line-locking workflow using DAC Access Control to manage element lock &amp; release in Administration module for E3D / PDMS Global Extract DB environment between locations.</li><li> Coordinate with Systems lead for maintaining global catalogues.</li><li> Setup progress measurement gates </li><li> Generate weekly progress reports for 3D Administration.</li><li> Create local backups of running projects as necessary.</li><li> Ensure that project databases are cleaned up and merged periodically.</li><li> Create regular Review / NavisWorks file of the 3D model.</li><li> Good exposure to Schematic Model Manager configuration to compare/update 3D-P&amp;ID <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Essential Qualifications and Education:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Degree in engineering / Diploma in Engineering. Formal training in 3D application and multiple project execution exposure essential. </li><li> 8+ years’ with at least 5 years in PDMS &amp; MDS administration &amp; 2+ year experience in E3D Administration. </li><li> Managed &amp; administered large size projects (with 25+ users) executed using the E3D, PDMS &amp; MDS Application and E3D Projects.
