With some of the best-known brands in the world, Siemens has stood for engineering excellence, innovation, quality, and reliability for more than 175 years.</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a<strong> Senior Hardware Engineer </strong>to join our <strong>Softmodels Memories Team </strong>of MED Solutions, ICV-SVSD team in Cairo, Egypt.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Understanding and executing JEDEC standards of memory Protocols.</li><li>Design &amp; Implement memories softmodels for emulation and Veloce environments.</li><li>Develop and execute detailed block level and chip level digital designs.</li><li>System level integration and running needed verification tasks on system level.</li><li>Running and debugging simulation, emulation, and prototyping based verification environments.</li><li>Running code check tools and code coverage tools and analyze reports.</li><li>Run Synthesis of RTL code and analyze reports.</li><li>Run static timing analysis and analyze reports.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience/Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.</li><li>+3 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Experience in Digital HW Design.</li><li>Solid experience in Verilog and/or System Verilog.</li><li>Hands on experience in FPGA design flow and Interfacing.</li><li>Logic synthesis and synthesis report analysis knowledge.</li><li>Knowledge of memory protocols (DRAM, SPI NOR, and Flash memories)</li><li>Knowledge of Scripting Languages (Perl/Tcl) is a plus!</li><li>Prior Knowledge of Siemens Tools such as Simulation, Synthesis, or any Functional Verification Flows is a huge plus!</li><li>Highly proactive and wishing to work in a hands-on role from initial Spec through to support of deployment.</li><li>Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>We’re Siemens.
