<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>As a Graphic Designer specializing in Events Planning, your role will involve creating visually appealing and engaging designs for various event-related materials. You will work closely with the events planning team to understand project requirements, conceptualize design ideas, and produce high-quality graphics that align with the event’s theme and objectives. This position requires strong creative and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Design Development: Collaborate with the events planning team to understand the event’s concept, theme, and branding requirements. Create visually compelling designs for event materials such as invitations, posters, banners, signage, brochures, programs, digital assets, and other promotional materials.</li><li>Branding and Visual Identity: Develop and maintain consistent visual branding for events, ensuring that all design elements align with the event’s brand guidelines and reflect its identity. Create or adapt existing design assets to maintain a cohesive visual identity throughout all event materials.</li><li>Digital Graphics: Create engaging digital graphics for event promotion, including social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, and multimedia presentations. Optimize designs for various digital platforms and devices.</li><li>Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with the events planning team, including project managers, event coordinators, and other stakeholders, to understand their design needs, provide creative input, and ensure timely delivery of design assets.</li><li>Production and File Management: Prepare design files for print and digital production, adhering to specific technical requirements and file formats. Maintain an organized file structure and proper documentation to facilitate version control and future reference.</li><li>Creative Problem Solving: Address design challenges and revisions with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Adapt designs based on feedback and incorporate changes while maintaining visual consistency and quality.</li><li>Industry Trends and Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design techniques, and new software/tools. Conduct research to gather design inspiration and explore innovative approaches to enhance the visual impact of event materials.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably with experience in events planning or related industries</li><li>Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant graphic design tools</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creative solutions</li><li>Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition</li><li>Knowledge of print production processes, file formats, and technical specifications</li><li>Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into compelling visual designs</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and interact with stakeholders</li><li>Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please note that the actual job description may vary depending on the organization and specific project requirements.</p>
