<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.</p><p>· Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.</p><p>· Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets.</p><p>· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.</p><p>· Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.</p><p>· Prepares profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.</p><p>· Prepares and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.</p><p>· Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.</p><p>· Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.</p><p>· Oversees daily operations of the finance department and resolve accounting discrepancies</p><p>· Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits.</p><p>· Must be well versed in VAT filing &amp; preparation of balance sheet</p><p>· Manages the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.</p><p>· Prepare and maintain all balance sheet account reconciliations.</p><p>· Preparation of journal vouchers and all other work during month-end closing.</p><p>· Establishes and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.</p><p>· Should be able to replace any position in accounts during vacation of those permanent staff members.</p><p>· Will be involved in management reporting.</p><p>· Direct financial spot checks and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.</p><p>· To ensure the confidentiality of information related either to the Company or clients.</p><p>· Train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.</p><p>· Other duties as assigned by the management.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Requirements/Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification is added advantage.</li><li>5 years of experience in a senior financial position.</li><li>A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements.</li><li>Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Big 4 audit experience is added advantage.</li></ul><p><br></p>
