Senior FM Manager

This position has managerial oversight from an operational perspective. The Senior Facilities Manager will provide guidance on all Facilities Management matters and manage all operations within the building. They will be managing a team of 6 and reporting directly to the Client with oversight from JLL. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are always safe and fully operational. The Senior Facilities Manager will also be responsible for managing contractors and working with FM Service Providers.

The Senior Facilities Manager will also undertake and manage the Transition of the tower and the mobilisation of the FM Service Provider.

Duties:

Leads and maintains a strategic plan for the delivery of Facilities Management Services that has been delivered by JLL. Budget control and reporting Validation of FM related invoices to recommend payment based on agreed performance metrics Manages both hard and soft facilities management services, including the management of FM Service Providers, to maximize the estate and facilities uptime and reduce the number of reactive calls submitted to the helpdesk. Leads and manages the direct reports within the FMA team. Handles any escalated operational issues. Contract Management of Service Providers and carries out quality auditing of the FM services. Uses best business practices to manage and reduce operational costs. Ensures there are clear lines of communication and reporting with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and developing transparency in all operations. Leading by example with high ethical standards and recognized for their accessibility by all staff. Promotes a customer-oriented service attitude through clear recognition of user needs and ensures the efficient and effective operation of the procurement and contract management department. Reviews the knowledge, skills and competencies of the Facilities Management Team in order to ensure development of specific competencies. Ensure the Building transition and the mobilisation of the FM Service Provider is smooth and contractual requirements are met. Fit-out work management (commercial -Office and Retails)

Minimum qualifications and experience required

Bachler Degree in engineering or facility management or equivalent 20 to 25 years of experience in FM including senior managerial roles Managing Agent and high-rise commercial building experience is a must. Gulf experience must.
