Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Environmental Engineer is responsible in the processes that seek to control environmental entities in orientation to a plan or idea. This positon is responsible for overseeing the environmental performance of the organization and for developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies that promote sustainable development.

Job Responsibilities 1

Oversees of all environmental matters for project, yard and facility based on assignment, including developing environmental requirements and implementing Environment Management Plan (EMP).

Supports the development of project HSE strategy, often would be responsible for section or/and project.

Keeps abreast of international developments that can contribute to environmental best practices.

Manages the development of all the environment standards for the organization as per the requirements stipulated in ISO 14001 standards by adhering the local, international norms, requirements or any other emerged criteria for the future. all environment standards for the organization as per the requirements stipulated in ISO 14001 standards.

Develops robust and stringent set of strategy to be developed by setting and giving a different level of benchmark to the organization in terms of generating all the required documents as per ISO 14001 set standards.

Ensures all the practices of generating procedures, forms and any other documents will be planned, developed, implemented, reviewed, recorded and maintained.

Job Responsibilities 2

Ensures that all the legal and other statutory requirements will be adhered while framing documents pertaining to environment.

Ensures to review all the environment documents and accordingly changes and suggestions will be implicated wherever possible as per the need and requirements.

Ensures that any changes are incorporated in the HSE policy as per the emerged requirements, will be suggested and assisted.

Generates and maintains all reports, records and documents.

Monitors all organization project/location/facilities for environment compliance as per ISO 14001 requirements and standards along with defined organization documents.

Ensures that all the established set of documents should be followed, implemented all across the organization operations.

Oversees implementation of HSE policy all across the organization operations.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Education

Profesional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or NEBOSH
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management
