Job Title: Senior Engineer, HSE Management System
Company: ADNOC Distribution
Location: Abu Dhabi
JOB PURPOSE:
Develops and maintains HSE Management system in accordance with the business needs and regulatory and
legal requirements. Provide support to the relevant functions in compliance with the HSEMS policies, procedures
and other documents.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Specific Accountabilities
• Design, develop, and maintain HSE Management System documents.
• Support in reviewing and revising HSE policies, procedures, method statements as and when needed.
• Prepare, deliver the HSEMS related awareness trainings and conduct the workshops on new HSE
procedures / policies.
• Actively participate in ADNOC HSE Standards development and revision sessions. Provide necessary
feedback in coordination with the feedback from other relevant organizational functions.
• Participate in HSE Management System audits as per the annual audit plans.
• Coordinate with the internal and external focal points to perform external audits.
• Coordinate with HSE team for development and revision of HSE policies, procedures, method statement
etc. as and when required.
• Stay updated with the knowledge about relevant international standards, national and international legal
requirements, applicable CoPs and best industrial techniques and practices.
• Participate in contractor’s HSEMS verification sessions.
• Develops and updates Safety and Environment standards, procedures and guidelines in conformity with
Company policies for use in-house or by Contractors/Consultants with regard to Projects undertaken.
• Reviews the work related to safety and environment of design Consultants/ Contractors and ensures that
requisite quality and standards are maintained and adopted.
• Participates in Technical Evaluations of technical submittals by tenderers for new Projects whenever
needed
• Leads, develops plans and co-ordinates resources for the implementation of all ADNOC guidelines and
HSE Standards related to Health, Safety and Environment.
• Reviews and approves the HSE Documents submitted by consultants.
• Periodically visits project sites and ensures that Health, Safety and Environment System are fully
implemented in accordance with the Company’s HSE requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline or similar field
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years of experience in a similar role is required
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Report Writing and document formatting skills
• Moderated skills to perform research on best industrial techniques and practices

• NEBOSH IGC
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
