Senior Engineer Contracts

<p>Metito is looking for a <strong>Senior Engineer Contracts</strong> to manage a variety of contracts -reviewing and identifying risks- and to ensure the company is consistently meeting contractual obligations in compliance with company standards, applicable laws and customer requirements. </p><p><br></p><p>The role will be reporting to General Manager – Contracts and Commercial </p><p><br></p><p>based at Metito’s National Industries Park premises in Dubai-UAE with a focus on the Pakistan market.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Accountabilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, develop and administer contracts (Pre and post project award )</li><li>Review proposed and/or existing agreements (such as EPC agreements, O&amp;M agreements, joint venture Agreements etc.)</li><li>Analyze and communicate potential commercial, procurement and other contractual risks </li><li>Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with internal and external stakeholders </li><li>Ensure contracts are adequately reviewed, signed off and that they reflect final agreements</li><li>Advise on all contractual aspects and areas of potential exposure</li><li>Advice and clearly communicate contractual rights and obligations</li><li>Identify, negotiate and ensure proper documentation of change orders, amendments, etc. to protect Metito’s rights associated with changed contract scope or additional requirements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Requirements: </u></strong></p><ul><li><br></li><li>Extensive exposure to high value complex engineering projects</li><li>Extensive experience in contracts’ drafting and administration</li><li>Excellent professional writing skills</li><li>Extensive Working knowledge of FIDIC forms of Contract</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Minimum number of years’ experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Engineering / Quantity Surveying. MRICS , MCIArb or similar is a plus</li><li>Proven work experience in Contract Management and Contract Administration of minimum 8 years including at least 4 years in UAE/GCC</li><li>Minimum 4 years working in a similar capacity</li><li>Recent experience in EPC companies, the utility industry, Petrochemical industries or similar fields.</li></ul>
