As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and test embedded software solutions for various projects. You will work closely with our hardware and firmware teams to integrate software components into a cohesive system.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development, with experience in C/C++, assembly language, and real-time operating systems. You should be proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues and have experience developing software for microcontrollers and other embedded systems.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Development (design, implement, test, and debug) of core and application-specific software requirements for automotive-embedded electronic projects.</li><li>Integrate auto-code-generated functions in a multicore environment.</li><li>Develop software in compliance MISRA standards.</li><li>Perform work assignments as a highly competent software engineer, requiring independent design, implementation and testing of the software components.</li><li>Generate code profiling measurements on the ECU</li><li>Interfacing the code with AUTOSAR modules</li><li>Configuring AUTOSAR components </li><li>Interface with product development teams located in various geographical locations.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing software release schedules and multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent</li><li>Minimum 5 years relevant experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).</li><li>Real-time embedded software using C++ for 32/64-bit multicore SoC/microcontrollers.</li><li>Experience in Adaptive AUTOSAR, QNX, Linux framework is a plus.</li><li>Experience with device driver development like Flash, EEPROM, LIN, CANFD, Ethernet, SPI, etc.</li><li>Experience with design, implement, test and debug of embedded software for automotive electronic module.</li><li>Hardware/Software (HW/SW) integration, Software configuration management, Full software life-cycle development</li><li>ISO26262 Functional safety software development experience</li><li>Ability to successfully contribute to multidisciplined teams.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Embedded C++ or C including Linux/QNX/RTOS/Autosar environment</li><li>Excellent knowledge of product development engineering practices in the automotive field</li><li>Experience using the following tools or related tools:</li><li>Requirements management (Polarion, Reqtify)</li><li>Architect &amp; Design (Enterprise Architect),</li><li>Static Analysis (QAC)</li><li>Unit Testing (Tessy/Cunit),</li><li>Configuration Management (SVN/Git)</li><li>Fluent knowledge in English</li><li>Knowledge of French, Dutch or German is a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Exciting and diversified projects</li><li>Very competitive salary package &amp; benefits</li><li>Work Permit &amp; Visa sponsorship</li><li>Medical Insurance &amp; allowances and Bonus</li><li>Work-life balance (flexible working hours and remote work)</li><li>Modern leadership culture</li><li>Training &amp; personal development</li><li>Participation in the company’s success</li><li>Company car + Fuel card</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Location: Brugge, Belgium</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
