Our Ports and Maritime Engineers help our clients to maximize their operational efficiencies, create jobs and provide an unprecedented mix of products and services across the GCC region.<p><br></p>JACOBS has a strong track record in helping many of the world’s global cities develop visionary strategic designs and due to continued investment within the region our Middle East operation now seeks an experienced Sr Electrical Engineer who is keen to gain exposure on large scale design projects and help deliver the Jacobs Vision.<p><br></p>We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, to help deliver design engineering solutions on the multiple & diversified infrastructure & Ports/Maritime projects. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting the electrical lead in managing electrical engineering team and leading the design and development of electrical systems for various projects. Your role will involve mainly client facing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, resource management and ensuring the successful execution of electrical engineering projects from concept design to issue for construction.<p><br></p><strong>Here’s What You’ll Need</strong><p><br></p>As a successful candidate you will have a degree in Electrical Engineering. You will also possess -<p><br></p><ul><li> Assisting Team Leader</li><li>Provide leadership and guidance to a team of electrical engineers, including task assignment, mentoring, and performance management.</li><li>Communicate with client and interface between client and design delivery team on multiple projects.</li><li>Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and efficient workflow.</li><li>Work with project team for suggesting out of box ideas, value engineering ideas and implementing those in delivery.</li><li> Project Management</li><li>Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical engineering projects.</li><li>Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project completion.</li><li>Attending progress meetings with client and brief design progress </li><li> Quality control</li><li>Plan and oversee electrical design, design validation activities to meet compliances for codes and standards and Client requirement.</li><li>Identify and resolve any technical issues or deficiencies in the electrical systems and propose appropriate solutions.</li><li> Technical</li><li>Technical Bid Analysis of Vendor Offer, Vendor Drawing Review of Electrical Equipment such as HV/LV Switchgear, Transformer, AC/DC UPS, Bulk Materials, Motors, VFD</li><li>Sound knowledge of Concept design of Electrical system </li><li>Well versed with Electrical system study Softwares such as ETAP</li><li> Value added</li><li>Experience in solar and wind power generation</li><li>Experience in micro grid</li></ul><p><br></p>Jacobs.
