<strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>We are currently seeking Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team based in Doha.<p><br></p><strong>About The Role:</strong><p><br></p><strong>Job purpose :</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensures continuity of engineering to site.</li><li>Is in charge of technical interfaces with the sub-contractors.</li><li>Is In charge of resolving first level problems at site.</li><li>Performs simple calculations and draws sketches for any modification work at site.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Reporting lines and interactions:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Hierarchically reports to: HOD, Electrical.</li><li>Operationally reports to: Manager –HOD, Electrical Manager.</li><li>Key interactions (internally, externally): Discipline Manager and vendors. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Profile Must Have :</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas sectors with independent working capability &amp; effective communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Main Accountabilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Site survey on shore / offshore for data retrieval</li><li>Design of main SLD and auxiliary distribution schemes</li><li>Protection &amp; relay co-ordination</li><li>Load calculations</li><li>Power system study ETAP</li><li>Earthing calculations</li><li>Cable sizing calculation</li><li>AC &amp; DC UPS, DG set sizing calculations</li><li>Equipment sizing &amp; selection</li><li>Familiar with Hazardous area classifications &amp; layout</li><li>Preparation of material requisitions for electrical equipment such as medium voltage/ low voltage switchgears, transformers, cables, DC/AC UPS equipment etc.</li><li>Preparation of technical specifications of electrical equipment such as generator, transformer, medium voltage/ low voltage switchgears, cables, lighting packages etc. </li><li>Technical bid evaluation </li><li>Vendor interaction &amp; discussion with clients</li><li>Cable schedule, cable interconnection/ termination and cable routing</li><li>Electrical layouts and materials list</li><li>Lighting calculations and layouts</li><li>Lightning protection design</li><li>Layouts for electrical rooms</li><li>Vendor drawings review </li><li>Preparation of distribution board/panelboard schedules</li><li>Field engineering support</li><li>Familiar with International standards</li></ul><p><br></p>We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.<p><br></p><strong>What’s Next?</strong><p><br></p>Once receiving your system application, Recruiting Team will screen and match your skills, experience, and potential team fit against the role requirements.
