Senior Design Manager ( Building Design)

Job Description

Our client is a leading Real Estate Developer in the UAE.

Responsibilities –

• Support the Head of Department on developing and implementing successful design strategies and delivering high-quality projects.

• Support management of all facets of the design process right from brief.

• Consultant appointment to Information for Construction or Tender and availability of the building permit or earlier stage if Design and Build strategy.

• Act as site-architect when representing client during project execution.

• Accountable for reviewing design submissions, using BIM models, to assure alignment to code, cost, quality and scope to the design brief and budget approved by Senior Management.

• Protect the company as a business and its clients for risks related to scope creep, cost, quality and time increases.

• Workaround to find solutions for design issues and communicate these effectively using visualization of design intent and options in 2D or 3D, focus on Architecture as well as Interior Design.

• Contribute in leading design consultants and perform day to day monitoring.

Requirements –

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• 15+ years, minimum, of previous GCC or UAE experience. Arabic skills, an advantage but not a must
• Previous Real Estate or property development experience is a bonus but not a must.
