<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>As a Senior Design Architect in a weddings and events company, your role will involve overseeing the design and creative aspects of the company’s events, ensuring that they are visually captivating, unique, and aligned with the clients’ preferences. You will work closely with clients, event planners, and a team of designers to create memorable experiences and transform venues into stunning settings. Your expertise in architectural design, space planning, and aesthetics will play a vital role in the success of the company’s events.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Conceptualization and Design: Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their vision, requirements, and desired ambiance for weddings and events. Develop creative concepts and design proposals that align with the clients’ preferences, while considering practicality, budget constraints, and local regulations.</li><li>Space Planning and Layout: Determine the optimal layout and flow of the event spaces, taking into account factors such as guest capacity, seating arrangements, stage setups, and functional requirements. Maximize the use of available space to create visually appealing and functional event designs.</li><li>Material Selection and Decor: Select appropriate materials, colors, and decor elements to enhance the desired theme and ambiance. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source and procure the necessary materials, furnishings, lighting, and decorative items.</li><li>Visualization and Presentations: Create visual representations, including sketches, renderings, and mood boards, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and internal teams. Present and articulate your design ideas, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.</li><li>Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead a team of designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction throughout the design process. Foster a collaborative and creative environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination between team members, event planners, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Vendor and Contractor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the seamless execution of the design plans. Coordinate timelines, budget considerations, and quality control to meet client expectations and company standards.</li><li>On-Site Supervision: Oversee the implementation of the design during event setup and execution. Provide guidance to the event production team, ensuring that the design vision is realized and that any necessary adjustments are made to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience as a design architect, preferably with a focus on weddings or events.</li><li>Strong design and conceptualization skills, with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in architectural design software and visualization tools.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with clients, event planners, and internal teams.</li><li>Leadership abilities and experience managing a team.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.</li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to adjust designs based on client feedback and changing requirements.</li><li>Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and event industry standards.</li><li>Understanding of wedding and event trends, themes, and styles.</li></ul><p><br></p>
