Senior Commercial Valuer
Job Description
<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE</strong></p><p>To develop valuation practice, and assist in consultancy and other new business approaches, for all types of properties by performing the following duties.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>To provide direction to the Junior Mortgage Valuation Team Members</li><li>To secure new business and maintain existing Client relationships.</li><li>To complete fee earning work</li><li>Preparing accurate valuation reports</li><li>Ensuring reports meet a high-quality standard / appearance.</li><li>Ensure valuation reports comply with International (RICS) & Local (RERA) reporting standards.</li><li>Ensure reports adhere to the Terms of Engagement and meet, or exceed our Terms of Engagement</li><li>Attend Client meetings to secure new instructions</li><li>Attend meetings with banks to secure bank empanelment, provide market presentations.</li><li>Prepare (and present, as required) terms of engagement / proposals.</li><li>Identify new targets</li><li>Attend Client meetings to identify & discuss future valuation requirements.</li><li>Mitigate any issues with valuations provided (e.g. the reported Value falling below expectations)</li><li>Build rapport with Clients, wherever possible</li><li>Review reports to ensure accurate values are reported.</li><li>Review reports to ensure compliance with RICS and local reporting standards.</li><li>Ensure reports are prepared to a consistent and prescribed standard. </li><li>Provide Clients with additional clarifications to queries/complaints. </li><li>Provide technical support to team, as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Must possess a High School completion certificate at the minimum.</li><li>Must possess a driver’s license and a vehicle to operate in the UAE.</li><li>Registered Valuer (RICS) (MRICS)</li><li>Must be proficient in PC skills.</li><li>Must be proficient in spoken and written English. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS</strong></p><ul><li>3-5 years’ experience in UAE Real Estate.</li></ul>
