You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, Intel, and General Motors to build a venture with transformative potential.<br><br>ABOUT THE ROLE:<br><br>As Shift EV’s Senior charging engineer, you will join the aftersales team in planning and deploying EV charging solutions for our fleet customers. You will own the EV charging installation and commissioning, directly and through partners, and overall EV fleet charging customer success. Specifically, you will:<br><ul><li>Own customer site inspection to ensure charging and EV fleet deployment readiness.</li><li>Work with the Shift EV engineering and product teams as well as external partners on developing, productizing and deploying customer-centric charging solutions. </li><li>Lead charging infrastructure projects from site inspection, solution design and system deployment at customer sites, including working with consultants, vendors and installers. </li><li>Onboard customer operators on safe and effective chargers operations, through on-site training and onboarding material.</li><li>Manage periodical maintenance to the sites and address operational and technical issues promptly.</li><li>Coordinate the technical support and technical escalation for Shift EV’s customers and partners with regards to charging </li><li>Communicate customer issues internally with the product management, engineering, and manufacturing teams. <br><br></li></ul>YOU HAVE:<br><ul><li>Bachelor degree or more in electrical engineering. </li><li>Great project management skills and the ability to coordinate with third party partners.</li><li>Excellent time management and the ability to multitask and prioritise work.</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as IEC 61439 series.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills and good writing skills, with the ability to adapt to various situations and audiences</li><li>Customer-centric attitude with robust problem-solving skills.</li><li>Direct experience deploying EV charging infrastructure. <br><br></li></ul>YOU MUST:<br><ul><li>Be a team player.</li><li>Take ownership and have a strong sense of integrity in your work. </li><li>Love to change the status quo and work well in high-pressure situations.</li><li>Be strategic and proactive.</li><li>Be self-aware, flexible, and open-minded.</li><li>Combine a mix of analytical thinking, hands-on problem-solving, and a customer-service mindset.<br><br></li></ul>WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US:<br><ul><li>An impact-driven mission, and a world-class team to work with.</li><li>A startup where your contributions really count, and an abundance of growth opportunities.</li><li>Stock options, we want you to be invested in the success of the company.</li><li>Leadership that aspires to build a meritocratic environment that promotes diversity and offers equal opportunity.</li></ul>
