<strong>Career Category<br></strong><p><br></p>Sales<p><br></p><strong><br>Job Description<br></strong><p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Collaborates with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans</li><li>Evaluates progress versus plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with manager</li><li>Contributes to Cluster/Territory Teams and proactively collaborates (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc.) to agree on key account plan objectives/responsibilities</li><li>Engages with peers and District Manager and cross-functional teams to improve product knowledge</li><li>Demonstrates an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate</li><li>Follows through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion</li><li>Reports customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up-to-date</li><li>Demonstrates an understanding of Amgen Performance 4 selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs</li><li>Operates within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities</li><li>Seeks advises and assistance to organize activities in a timely fashion and follow-up with customers</li><li>Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Drives own development</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Authority:</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>The definition of Accounts and DMGs</li><li>Development of Account plans and implementation once approved</li><li>Implementation of expense budget</li><li>Price policy implementation plan</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Output:</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Action plans per Priority Account (developed with Sales Reps and DM)</li><li>Inclusion of products in Kuwait Hospital Formularies without restrictions and with price conditions that reflect the value</li><li>High quality internal and external customer relationships</li><li>Periodic activity reports in covered area (net sales analysis, Price evaluation, discounts evolution, calls.)</li><li>developing solutions together to address customer needs and bring maximal value for all parties</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor`s degree</li><li>Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job</li><li>Experience in MOH, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Orthopedics, and Biotechnology related field.</li><li>Understanding of Kuwait healthcare system and patient flow especially MOH</li><li>Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication</li><li>Fluency in local language, both in oral and written communication</li><li>Kuwait relevant local legal qualification (Transferrable residency and valid driving licence) is a must</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Preferred Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor`s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences, Pharmacy is preferred</li><li>Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles</li><li>Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels</li><li>Exposure to project management principles</li><li>Demonstrated resilience in complex environments</li><li>Demonstrated high learning agility</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Required Training</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Product and market/PMC</li><li>Traineeship in therapeutic area</li><li>IT applications and CRM system</li><li>Values, culture, policies and business processes</li><li>Presentation skills</li><li>POA/key account planning</li></ul>
