What You’ll Do

  • Be the HR main point of contact to provide staff support on daily matters
  • Maintain Master Data sheet and HRIS with correct staff data and prompt change updates
  • Support People Partner in monthly payroll run by consolidation of attendance, leaves, overtime and deductions
  • Initiate and process staff final settlement calculations in line with applicable laws
  • Support visitors and staff business travel and accommodation booking requirements
  • Support People Partner in meeting staffing recruitments by administration of job posting, screening, facilitating interviews and issuing job offers
  • Administer leave requests, leave approvals, tracking and resumption from leave on system
  • Facilitate disciplinary sessions and attends to staff complaints
  • Collaborate with PRO for staff GOSI registration, visa management, Tamkeen and various labor requirements
  • Be on the ground and own staff initiatives and monthly team activities, championing Kitopi’s values and looking after staff wellbeing
  • Runs staff induction, onboarding activities as well as off boarding and exit processes
  • Provide staff letters of employment certification and salary certificates as required
  • Report monthly data and analytics on different HR topics based on company needs

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven 5+ years’ experience – either in a people operations role or in roles demonstrating operational excellence and a customer service mindset
  • Experience at a fast-paced, high-growth start-up company or hospitality industry preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics HRIS and Lever ATS
  • Ready to roll-up sleeves and get your hands-on the different areas of HR
  • Active, caring, and enjoy being on the ground with staff
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of employee policies and the Bahraini labor laws
  • Experience in administrating govt platforms (GOSI, LMRA, etc)
  • Able to multitask and handle tasks according to priorities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools, particularly Excel is a plus
  • Able to maintain sensitive and confidential information
