This position will be based in Dubai, UAE or Riyadh, KSA.<br><br>Our Disputes &amp; Economics practice focuses on assisting clients with financial, accounting, and economic issues associated with complex fraud, litigation and International Arbitration. A sample of diverse consulting engagements include consulting and preparation of expert reports and testimony in local court and international arbitration, consulting on complex forensic accounting and financial reporting matters and opining on quantum, valuation and loss of profits. Our professionals are trusted advisors who work collaboratively and in a very measured and expedient way to maximise value for our clients. We are experts known for leading challenging processes and bringing together.<br><br>This position is for an experienced Senior Associate or Director level. Our Director level is equivalent to Manager level at most professional accounting firms.<br><br><strong><u>Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Leading several aspects of our forensic accounting engagements primarily involving damages assessments, valuations and/or financial investigations.</li><li>Using accounting, financial, valuation, and analytical skills to solve problems for our clients.</li><li>Preparing and reviewing detailed financial models as part of quantification of loss of profits or additional costs.</li><li>Being significantly involved in the drafting of expert reports and other deliverables for review by the Senior Team.</li><li>Assisting as required in the management of client expectations and job administration.</li><li>Supervising junior team members.</li><li>Supporting the team’s business development opportunities and events and working towards developing your own network of clients and business contacts.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree.</li><li>Internationally recognized professional accounting/finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent).</li><li>4 to 8 years broad accountancy, audit, valuation and/or forensic accountancy experience within a recognised global practice, ideally including experience in the Middle East, with skill sets that can be readily transferred to dispute, valuation and/or investigation engagements.</li><li>Previous experience in Business Valuation will be an advantage.</li><li>Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with a flexible approach to problem solving.</li><li>Previous experience in contributing to or drafting client deliverables and participating in presentations to clients on key findings.</li><li>Experience in working across several industries in a professional services environment.</li><li>Be willing to market to new and existing clients.</li><li>Ability to work in Arabic (written and spoken) will be an advantage.</li><li>While the role will be based in Dubai or Riyadh, a moderate amount of regional travel may be required depending on client and engagement needs. <br></li></ul>Ankura is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
