Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be involved in following client work activities:

  • Assisting on compliance monitoring and testing programs
  • Performing desk-based reviews on client sites to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
  • Assisting on reviewing and drafting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various regulations and legal requirements
  • Writing detailed reports, and participate on client presentations
  • Liaising with clients for the engagement(s)
  • Assisting the Leadership team in developing proposals, pitch presentations and other commercial opportunities.
  • Identify additional work that could be provided to the client
  • Work towards timely delivery of assignments

Requirement:

  • Experience of 3 – 5 years of relevant work.
  • Knowledge and experience of DFSA, DIFC and CBUAE regulations
  • Experience on compliance assessment activities within financial institutions
  • Solid understanding of compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities and governance assessments
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Energetic, self-starter, keen to learn and curious about acquiring new skills and expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, pro-active in building relationships both internal and external

Nice to have

  • Arabic speaker
  • Financial certification(s)
  • Previous experience as a compliance consultant
