Job Description

Position Summary <ul><li>The Senior Architect will be responsible for the coordination of company projects Architectural Design tasks and Landscape Architecture associated with those projects, which consists of High, mid & economic levels of Residential, Commercial, Offices, Mixed-use & Recreational assets comprising of site wide infrastructure and superstructure.</li><li>The Senior Architect is responsible for coordinating the scope and integration of work assigned to main & sub design entities. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the desire to innovate designs as well as architecture work processes.</li><li>The Senior Architect is responsible of reviewing all design disciplines and make sure of their coordination and clash-free reports and compliance with building codes & regulations.</li></ul> Major Responsibilities <ul><li>Conduct, Plan, schedule or coordinate initial, detailed and IFT & IFC phases of the Architectural Designs for the project.</li><li>Plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of layout techniques, procedures, and criteria for the Architectural designs of the project buildings, facilities and structures including planning and development activities of the region.</li><li>Provide review and make recommendations on development and evaluate infrastructure requirements.</li><li>Prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, proposals, value engineering studies or alternate technical concepts in accordance with Engineering Procedures and contribute to the Architectural design of the project facilities.</li><li>Will be responsible for the review of Architectural Design tasks and Landscape Architecture associated with development of the region.</li><li>Prepare and review essential contractual documents such as Scope of Work, Request for Proposal (RFP) and Information Report.</li><li>Identify and implement sustainability requirement(s).</li><li>Coordinate design development with other departments which may include construction, estimating, project controls, procurement, and contracts management.</li><li>Coordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline, engineering disciplines and other design entities.</li><li>Interface with clients and stakeholders to make presentations, deﬁne project layout requirements, and obtain contractual and statutory approvals.</li><li>Prepare and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-oﬀs.</li><li>Support the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.</li></ul>  Skills And Qualifications <ul><li>A recognized Bachelor’s/master’s degree in architecture, from an accredited college or university with an overall experience not exceeding 5 years.</li><li>Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an architect with hands on experience in planning, with understanding of High, mid & economic levels of Residential, Commercial, Offices, Mixed-use & Recreational assets comprising of site wide infrastructure.</li><li>Previous experience working as Architect with an interest in the environment and life sciences.</li><li>Experience in planning and program management.</li><li>Relevant experience in the KSA and MENA region and a sound understanding of the cultural norms and requirements of the region and a LEED certiﬁed professional.</li><li>US Professional Architects Registration and/ or internationally recognized Professional Architects, such as RIBA, AIA… etc., is a plus.</li><li>Practical work experience suﬃcient to demonstrate competence and breadth in architectural layouts.</li><li>Experience in customer-facing roles, presenting to customers and working with authorities having jurisdiction.</li><li>Active participation in professional association(s) for architecture.</li><li>Knowledge of architectural layout design, production techniques, building materials, and construction methods for development of various work areas in High, mid & economic levels of Residential, Commercial, Offices, Mixed-use & Recreational assets comprising of site wide infrastructure.</li><li>Understands technical issues and cost related to selection of design features and unique architectural design requirements.</li><li>Knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and knowledge of principles and practices of related engineering design methods and systems for some of the iconic structures.</li><li>Understanding and experience of recognized software used in Architectural Design.</li><li>Detailed knowledge of the building industry, regulatory standards.</li><li>Experienced with the practices and procedures as well as local and International Design Codes and Standards.</li><li>Has experience with Architectural work planning, scheduling and cost estimating.</li><li>Skilled in oral and written communication and has graphic presentation skills.</li><li>Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions.</li><li>Experienced with managing knowledge of sustainability and its integration into the design and the construction of various buildings.</li><li>Has a working knowledge of Autodesk design suite (Revit, AutoCAD) and is proﬁcient in model viewing software (e.g. Autodesk Navisworks) to navigate the 3D model for review, coordination, and guidance of physical model development decisions.</li><li>Leads formal and informal 3D model reviews.</li><li>Familiar with discipline-speciﬁc Autodesk Design suite (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) design workﬂows and impacts to discipline productivity, schedule, budget, and staﬃng plans.</li><li>Knowledgeable in the use and application of relevant business software, GIS programs, Photoshop, and 3D sketch up</li><li>Willingness to relocate to the job site in Saudi Arabia.</li><li>Hard working and motivated with high self-initiative.</li><li>Ability to
