<p><strong>What do we want?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for an experienced Android developer with strong knowledge of the Android SDK and writing code in Kotlin. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high engineering standards and developing simple, efficient code that prioritizes technical stability and user experience. We offer a great compensation package, flexible working hours, and a fun, international team environment with opportunities for growth and learning.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you will do…</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Write simple, understandable, testable, and efficient code with a focus on solid technical stability and great user experience</li><li>Drive technical improvement by applying software craftsmanship in everyday work as well as by identifying and executing larger refactoring/improvement initiatives</li><li>Implement unit tests within the team’s responsibility area</li><li>Take responsibility for maintaining high engineering standards, commitment to the product, and respect and attitude toward others</li><li>Active participation in other parts of the development lifecycle, such as feature grooming, code reviews</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Are you the one?</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of the Android SDK (minimum 5 years of experience)</li><li>Writing fluent code for Android in Kotlin for 2+ years</li><li>Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements</li><li>Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git</li><li>Experience in working with Agile methodologies</li><li>Ability to make the right compromises to maximize early value delivery without compromising on quality.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>It would be great if you also have:</em></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices as well as an eye for design</li><li>VoIP applications experience</li><li>Knowledge of gRPC</li><li>A knack for performance and optimization</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Are you up for an exciting journey with Söderhub? … Then we want to meet you!</strong></p><p><br></p>
