Job Description

The Medical Biller is responsible for preparing claims for submission to the National Health Insurance Company as well as other private payers. The incumbent is responsible for timely submission of claims based on agreed submission terms with the insurance providers. He/ She is also responsible for following up on claims and processing resubmissions as required The Psychologist – CAMHS (Master’s) is responsible for providing specialist psychological intakes, assessments and interventions for children and adolescents (C&A) patients. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating complex psychological data and formulating/ implementing a formal psychological treatment plan for the patients. The incumbent is also responsible for providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to the patient’s treatment plan. You must be currently licensed in your Country of Origin as a Psychologist to be eligible for Licensing in Qatar. You should have had 5+ years’ experience as a practicing clinical psychologist, psychological counselor, or psychotherapist, inclusive of 2+ years in the area of child / young adult psychology. Fluency in Written and Spoken Arabic is highly preferred. The Therapist I – Respiratory possesses novice knowledge of Pediatric and/or Neonatal cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology. S/he has novice knowledge and clinical acumen in the use of all medical devices and techniques used in respiratory therapy for the Pediatric and/or Neonatal patient population. S/he demonstrates professional skills relevant to patient assessment, disease identification and evaluation, and administration of clinical therapeutic, interventional, and diagnostic care. S/he demonstrates the knowledge and skills to participate in education of the patient, family and the public. The Respiratory Therapist I is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard. The Respiratory Therapist I participates in the supervision and teaching of more junior and new members of staff within the department. The Physician – Nuclear Medicine and Adult Radiology is responsible for the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holder’s care. The Physician – Nuclear Medicine and Adult Radiology makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient’s diagnosed condition. The Senior Analyst – Integration is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, testing and support of all assigned system to system interfaces both internal and external to Sidra Medicine. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. The Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Specialist is a trained nurse with experience who is an integral member of the Pediatric Nephrology multidisciplinary team and clinical practice who will be contributing to state of the art patient care delivery. In addition, this position is responsible for department leadership and completing other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include leading committees/workgroups, facilitating quality improvement projects, mentoring new employees and students, and providing educational experiences for staff. The Specialist – Child Life Services II, under minimal supervision, develops, coordinates and implements therapeutic, educational, and recreational child life interventions and programs for patients based on an understanding of normal growth and development and the impact that illness, injury, disability, and hospitalization have on this process. The Specialist – Child Life Services II serves as an active mentor to junior staff and students and creates and evaluates formal and informal learning opportunities. Highly Specialized Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Team We are looking for an experienced and motivated pediatric occupational therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Team. This is a lead role within our acute inpatient pediatric team, responsible for shaping and developing services for patients within the acute neurology, neurosurgery and orthopedic unit. The successful candidate will also deliver care across the spectrum of acute inpatient units. Current experience of working within one of more of the following acute care settings; pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care or complex pediatric medical units is required. Demonstrated experience in infant and child development and rehabilitation following acute injury is a must. Evidence of experience in developing and leading a specialist area of occupational therapy is highly desirable.
